Background

Fairy of Paradise

Morgan was raised happily as a princess among the Rain Clan in Onik. As a Fairy of Paradise, she was originally meant to fulfill Paradise's mission by destroying the erroneous Britain; her love for the island made her reject that fate. When the other clans exterminated the Rain Clan, its leader sacrificed themself to let Morgan escape. 338 384

A future Morgan was summoned as a Ruler-class Servant by Saigō. After reading his memories, she learned of Chaldea, the Lostbelts, and Spiritron Transfer. Faced with Britain's imminent destruction, she recreated Spiritron Transfer in a single night and sent her memories back to her younger self, changing the past. 336 337 406

Pilgrimages and the Savior Ash

The younger Morgan escaped Onik with Saigō's help and began a pilgrimage to ring Britain's Bone Bells. Each bell granted her power from Paradise. Although fairies instinctively disliked her, she continued southward to protect Britain rather than to save fairykind. 338 339

Her encounter with the dying Bávan Shí became a defining event. Unable to save the abused fairy, Morgan used a Command Spell for additional magical power and burned the responsible village, becoming more ruthless toward the fairies. 340

After ringing all six Bone Bells, Morgan defeated the Great Calamity as Savior Ash. The fairies later betrayed and executed her despite her service. Rather than surrendering, Morgan asked Saigō to remain with her through another four thousand years and repeated the pilgrimage cycle until she possessed power approaching that of an Ailing. 341 342

Queen of Britain

After witnessing the fairies murder Uther and massacre Londinium, Morgan abandoned her remaining faith in them. She used the Fantasy Tree's power to turn Britain into a Singularity, devastated most of the fairy population with island-wide magecraft, and ordered the surviving and newly created fairies to construct Camelot. 349 350

As Queen, she unified the southern clans, then subdued the Northern Fairy Royal Clan under Queen Mebh. She branded fairies with Command Spells and demanded magical power as tax, using their lives and magic to sustain Britain against its calamities and self-destructive forces. 359 360 367

When Camelot fell to a fairy rebellion, Morgan removed the seal on the Great Calamity, turning many fairies into Morse. She divided herself through Mirror Magecraft, massacred the invading forces, and openly confronted Chaldea over her intention to preserve her Britain at any cost. 416 417 418 422

Little Garden

Britain later ascended to the Little Garden and became the outer gate of a rebuilt Avalon Community. Morgan became its true foundation and the West District's Layer Ruler, while allowing Artoria to manage the community's day-to-day rule. 435 578

After acquiring the Spirit of Treason and becoming a Fourth-Rank Great Demon, Morgan remained focused on Britain's welfare rather than personal authority. She eventually abdicated her throne to Artoria, asking only that Britain be led into eternity. 578 648

Appearance

Morgan is a tall, graceful woman with an imposing queenly bearing, pale skin, and clear ice-crystal eyes whose pride is tempered by visible sorrow. 336

  • Her younger Fairy of Paradise form has dark-golden hair, a black soft hat and cape, a double-breasted skirt, black stockings, and a gunstaff. 338 339
  • After gaining greater power, her hair becomes radiant platinum blonde, reaching her ankles and tied with a black bow. 349
  • As Queen of Britain, she wears a crown, heavy court gowns, silk gloves, and a semi-transparent black veil that conceals most of her face. 350 354
  • Her public image is deliberately cold, distant, and regal; she removes the veil only in private. 361

Personality

Morgan's central devotion is not to the fairy population or to the throne, but to the continued existence of the Isle of Britain. She rejected Paradise's original mission because it required Britain's destruction, and she repeatedly endured betrayal rather than abandon the land. 337 338 413

She is compassionate toward rare innocent fairies, especially Bávan Shí, but her accumulated trauma made her regard most fairies as irredeemably cruel. This conflict defines her rule: she is capable of affection and grief, yet treats the fairy population as a necessary magical resource when Britain's survival demands it. 340 361 380

Morgan is an exceptional mage but was initially blunt and overreliant on overwhelming force as a ruler. Saigō's guidance gradually taught her political compromise, communication, and the importance of balancing factions; despite this growth, her arrogance and stubbornness remain. 357 389

In private, Morgan is far softer than her royal persona suggests. She trusts Saigō completely, fears being forced to choose between him and Britain, and openly shows tenderness only around those she considers family. 350 361 419

Abilities & Skills

Spiritron Transfer

Morgan independently reconstructed Chaldea's Spiritron Transfer technology after seeing only its effects in Saigō's memories.

  • Sent her future memories into her younger self, effectively altering history through a past-self fusion. 337 406
  • Required Saigō to remain asleep during the transfer to avoid a paradox caused by both versions of Morgan existing simultaneously. 337
  • Her later self used a similar memory-transfer sorcery to travel through Britain's recorded history. 436

Pilgrimage Blessings

Ringing the Bone Bells grants Morgan power from Paradise.

  • Her first completed pilgrimage restored her magic to Servant-comparable levels. 341
  • Repeated pilgrimages raised her close to an Ailing and eventually to Fifth Rank. 342 349
  • Morgan ultimately deceived Paradise and retained its power despite abandoning its intended mission. 349

Mirror Magecraft

One of Morgan's four major magecraft systems, specializing in observation, travel, replication, and large-scale spell relay.

  • Creates Water Mirror portals for instant travel across Britain. 349 578
  • Allows remote observation of events through reflective surfaces. 357 404
  • Splits Morgan into hundreds of independent projections across Britain. 417 418
  • Relays magical energy between copies, multiplying a spell's output into a massive combined attack. 418

Tower Magecraft

Morgan's defensive and territorial magecraft.

  • Generated a tower-like barrier that blocked the Fantasy Tree's attacks. 349
  • Converted the Britain Lostbelt into a Singularity, intended to evade Human Order Restoration. 350
  • Her throne connects to Britain's ley lines and the Command Spells placed on fairies, enabling her to mobilize the island's power. 361

Garden and Coffin Magecraft

Morgan uses specialized magecraft to imprison or restrain opponents.

  • Garden — Imprisoned Merlin permanently within a magecraft artifact. 350
  • Coffin — Froze Beryl Gut to prevent him from interfering with her Spiritron Transfer preparations. 337

Holy Spear Creation

Morgan can create magecraft replicas of the Holy Spear, called the Rending Spear.

  • A properly executed strike can pierce a continent. 352
  • Camelot held seventy-two prepared Holy Spears, which Morgan could fire through her throne without consuming her own magic. 368
  • The arsenal was designed as a decisive weapon against the Insect of the Abyss and could deliver Fourth-Rank destructive force when wielded by Morgan. 368 373

Fairy Command Spells and Magical Taxation

Morgan brands fairies with Command Spells and draws on their magical power.

  • Uses the fairy population's life force to sustain Britain and counter its self-destructive mechanisms. 350 357
  • The system is necessary because Morgan cannot indefinitely suppress Britain's calamities using only her personal reserves. 357
  • Her access to Britain's full magical network depends on the throne in Camelot. 361

Spirit of Treason

Morgan accepted Saigō's power of Treason and defected from the Celtic Pantheon to the Zoroastrian Pantheon.

  • Became a Great Demon of Treason. 578
  • The new Spirit elevated her to a complete Fourth-Rank existence. 578

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Gunstaff — A weapon usable as both a casting staff and a melee armament during her younger years. 339
  • Scepter of Kingship — Symbol of her royal authority and focus for large-scale magecraft. 418
  • Garden artifact — Magecraft prison used to seal Merlin. 350
  • Camelot's throne — Magecraft artifact connected to Britain's ley lines and fairy Command Spells. 361
  • Rending Spears — Holy Spear replicas produced through Morgan's magecraft; seventy-two were stationed around Camelot. 351 368

Relationships

  • Saigō / Zarathustra — Initially her Master after her Servant summoning; later her husband and King Consort. Morgan relies on his political guidance, protects him fiercely, and trusts him without reservation. 336 357 361 419
  • Bávan Shí / Fairy Knight Tristan — Adopted daughter. Morgan considers her the sole proof that fairies can be kind and resolves to protect her from the abuse she suffered in past lives. 340 361 366
  • Melusine / Fairy Knight Lancelot — Adopted daughter and Fairy Knight. Morgan accepts her as a weapon of Britain, grants her the name Lancelot, and permits her to call her “Mother.” 354 358
  • Artoria Castor — Younger sister in the Fairy Kingdom. Morgan chooses to protect her and hopes to maintain the sisterly bond that fate denied her with Artoria Pendragon. 388 389
  • Mordred — Daughter created through magecraft in Pan-Human History. After merging with her Pan-Human History self, Morgan recognizes Mordred as her child and regrets fostering her admiration for King Arthur. 391 418
  • Merlin — Longstanding enemy whom Morgan despises as a manipulative nightmare; she imprisons him in her Garden magecraft. 350 389
  • Trot / Habertrot — A loyal Fairy Knight whom Morgan treats like a younger sister, though Trot initially does not understand Morgan's true objective. 345 346
