• Shade agreed to guard the Peace Agreement signing, then used Puppet Manipulation to redirect an assassination attempt and was shot by Princess Margaret, who survived with Galina.
• Shade met Nadia Furen, who warned him about Laplace Klein Howard’s foresight and resurrection cards, then played Rhodes Cards with Xiao En Asmon and lost forty pounds for the Wedding card.
• Shade strengthened the Angel Halo with Iluna so she could help stop spatial fusions, and Iluna later separated the fused space in Green Lake City.
• Shade secured Miss Danist’s help for Megan and Audrey, gave them her ruby ring, and coordinated the allies’ preparations to reach Green Lake Central Island.
• Sister Devlin revealed the Fire of Return and taught Shade how to sense the Primordial Fire’s flames, warning him not to damage the First Fire’s seal before the island could be sealed.
• Megan and Audrey told Shade they could manifest their upper bodies together, while Miss Galina and Luvia planned how to protect him during the battle.

As the White Fog enveloped Green Lake, Shade and the others were transported with the inn to Another Island, where they fought to survive and uncovered Laplace Klein Howard’s ritual and plans. Shade learned more about Howard’s vision for preserving civilization and returned to the inn as the Battle of Green Lake approached.

• Shade revived Little John, said farewell to Professor Brownell’s expedition, and found a Time Key and the Founding card in the Duin River’s treasure chest.
• As monsters and Astral Meteorites attacked Green Lake, Shade and the inn’s defenders prepared for Laplace Klein Howard’s invitation, but the inn and its occupants were transported to Another Island at 7:48.
• Shade organized the survivors, explored the island, and rescued Wood and Glass Edwardz from the townspeople and the Flame Giant.
• Shade absorbed the bonfire’s flames and gained Flesh Ascension from the blood-red tree, while the Invisible Man warned that help could take an hour or longer to arrive.
• Shade found Mr. Soren Green and Miss Helena Green bound to a cross, freed them with his perfume, and learned that Howard expected him at the Family Banquet.
• With Miss Danist’s help, Shade crossed the lake and returned to the inn, learning that Iluna Bayes had reached the island and that the Doctor and Priest had entered the lake.
• Shade fought Laplace Klein Howard in a five-minute duel, then heard Howard’s account of Doomsday, the linked souls of Leisha Cavendish and Dorothy Louisa, and his plan to preserve civilization beyond the Material World.
• After questioning the tree about Howard’s claims, Shade saw the manor vanish into the Great Fog and used his talisman to return to the inn before the Battle of Green Lake.

Shade fought Laplace Howard and Edwardz as the Edwards Apotheosis Art transformed Green Island and threatened to tear apart space. After Shade advanced and joined forces with Iluna and the women who became the Red Butterfly, the ritual made a new Space Chosen One, and Shade flew to confront the spreading collapse.

• Shade left Green Lake Inn for Edwards Old House, where he fought Laplace Howard and uncovered the Bone Repository and hidden passages.
• Shade rescued Durut Giles, battled the island’s monsters, and joined Iluna in entering the Edwards family’s underground banquet.
• Laplace Howard began the Edwards Apotheosis Art, raising a blood-red tree as Shade and Iluna fought him and the Edwards family turned against itself.
• The tree produced a giant fruit containing Laplace Klein Howard, whose blood spikes consumed the Edwards family until Lust sacrificed herself to save Durut.
• The ritual drew Leisha and Dorothy toward fusion, but they resisted, advanced to the Sixth Ring, and reunited with Angelina.
• Shade advanced to the Seventh Ring and battled Edwardz, while Iluna used the God of Love’s Thorn and the Fairy Tale Kingdom merged with Green Island.
• Megan, Audrey, Leisha, Grace, Dorothy, and Helen became a Red Butterfly that merged with Shade, helping him stabilize the Mystic Lock and bind Edwardz.
• Shade began the Chosen One Ritual, which separated him from Megan and Audrey but produced a new Space Chosen One as spatial collapse spread toward the Green Lake Region.

Shade defeated Laplace Klein Howard’s plan, learned more about his origins, and reunited the survivors after the Battle of Green Lake. Back in Tobesk and Green Island, he helped his companions face new powers and dangers while Grace and Helen created a private alchemy room for him.

• Shade purified Envy Edwards, then followed Laplace Klein Howard and Sister Devlin into the realm of the Divided First Fire, where he fused with Sister Devlin and defeated Laplace’s resistance.
• Shade and Sister Devlin broke the sealing ritual and summoned Tree’s Kiss, which began consuming the Blood-Red Giant Tree.
• Laplace Klein Howard told Shade about the world’s destruction and rebirth, gave him his research and cards, and died after warning him about the spacetime destroyer.
• At Green Lake, Shade separated Grace and Helen from Leisha and Dorothy, and the four reunited as the Chosen One of Space before the survivors returned to the inn.
• Shade celebrated Iluna’s eighteenth birthday, learned that Laplace Howard’s cards might help Dorothy and Leisha, and planned to summon Mana Feliana with a Poems Card.
• Angelina awakened as a Ring Arcanist after becoming trapped in the Hide and Seek Wardrobe, while Shade and Sister Devlin discussed the Primordial Fire and the danger of the City of the End Mystic Lock.
• Shade met the Guardian of the Earth and learned that seasonal irregularities had caused late-spring snow, then let Mia touch the Heart of the Earth.
