Five-Headed Dragon Monster
Singo pulled out a flashlight and continued walking forward. Before him appeared a series of cold iron doors, some of which emitted eerie roars, painful howls, and even the sound of claws scraping against steel.
"There are probably a lot of monsters here. Let's choose a quiet place and go in to take a look."
"OK."
The Born Battle Maniac found the door that made the least noise, carefully unlatched it, and then pushed it open and went inside.
Steamed Bun followed closely behind, cold sweat dripping from its forehead.
The laboratory here seemed to be a corner despised by the world, filled with the stench of blood and the aura of death. There was little light inside, with only the faint candlelight on the Steamed Bun flickering, illuminating the small area around them. The experimental instruments, gleaming coldly, made everyone feel a chill down their spines.
Holding the Steamed Bun, Mantou said softly, "I think I heard... breathing."
The Born Battle Maniac, stepped forward, and listened intently. Sure enough, he heard a faint hissing sound.
He looked into the depths of the dark laboratory, where something seemed to be undulating and trembling.
"Prepare for battle."
However, as if sensing their arrival, rows of dragon-head torches suddenly lit up, their eerie blue light illuminating the entire laboratory and revealing the colossal creature lurking in the shadows in the distance.
—A body nearly six meters long, with five lizard-like, ferocious heads sewn onto a body pieced together from different creatures, with the stitches even visible at the seams.
The emaciated body, almost skin clinging to bones, was covered with sparse white scales, revealing large patches of wrinkled skin.
Its body was surrounded by broken bones and chunks of flesh, as well as bloodstained scalpels, silver needles, and saws, emitting a foul odor.
The monster's Limbs were firmly locked to a massive metal platform, the rusty iron shackles rendering it completely immobile and unable to break free. Each of its heads had its eyes closed, and its enormous body rose and fell, clearly indicating that it was in a deep slumber.
"What... what is this thing?"
Steamed Bun turned pale with fright. Putting aside the physical nausea caused by the monster, the key issue was that the white scales triggered some unpleasant memories for him.
"Take a look at this."
Singo stepped forward and noticed an information plaque with small print in front of the metal bed.
"Number 66: [Five-Headed Dragon Monster]"
"This work is dedicated to the great Five-Colored Dragon Queen."
"What a failed creation! Its filthy bloodline has not been Purification by noble dragon blood. It lacks intelligence and is unworthy even to be called a dragon. Tiamat, forgive my blasphemy for creating such a wretched imitation— Wagnerd, December 1, 1387, Third Era."
Steamed Bun patted his chest, still shaken. "It's that monster that old Deng created again. Luckily, he's locked up and doesn't have any... illusion abilities yet."
Singo sneered, "Heh."
The Born Battle Maniac was somewhat puzzled, and touched his bald head as he asked, "Did you encounter any illusions before? How come I didn't know?"
"Hmm—"
Before Singo could speak, Steamed Bun rushed forward and covered his mouth, laughing awkwardly, "No, no, nothing happened."
However, he was so anxious that he stepped on a scalpel lying on the ground, making a crisp "clang" sound.
"Woo... Awooo"
A series of hoarse growls rang out, the sound not loud but exceptionally piercing, as if resonating with the air.
Steamed Bun turned pale and turned around, his face covered in cold sweat.
The monster's five eyes snapped open, its long neck thrashed restlessly, and its gaunt, skull-like head gleamed with greed, thick liquid dripping from its mouth.
Since its birth, it had been casually abandoned by Wagnerd and had not eaten for countless years. The "human" in front of it was undoubtedly a delicious meal for this Five-Headed Dragon Monster, making it drool.
Steamed Bun stammered, "It's alright, he's trapped here, he definitely won't be able to get through."
However, before he could finish speaking, the shackles began to creak and groan, and the metal platform shook violently along with the monster's body.
"Snap!"
A crisp sound was heard.
The Five-Headed Dragon Monster's hunger was uncontrollable. It struggled incessantly, its thin body bursting with unimaginable power, and it actually broke free of the old metal shackles.
"Roar--"
The five heads trembled, and the monster raised its head and let out a furious roar.
Immediately afterwards, five greedy and burning gazes were cast at Steamed Bun and the others, and the corrosive saliva dripped from the corners of their mouths onto the ground, causing pits to appear.
Singo stared at the monster, gritting his teeth, and said, "Steamed Bun, if I had known, I would have had Battle Maniac beat you to death!"
Steamed Bun slid backward, on the verge of tears. "How was I supposed to know he'd wake up like that? This guy's sleep quality is just too low!"
"Get out of my way, let me do it!"
The Born Battle Maniac didn't hesitate to step in front, gripping his battle axe to face the monster head-on. However, with Xia Ye Qiuyu absent and without magical support, even he couldn't defeat this terrifying monster alone.

"Damn, this is a real pain."
Singo spat, quickly took the Hunting Longbow from his back, drew it back, and aimed at the Five-Colored Dragon monster. A purple Hunter Mark appeared on the monster's body.
"Drink up!"
The Born Battle Maniac let out a battle roar and stomped the ground.
His eyes were bloodshot, steam billowed from his body, and he entered a berserk state, charging towards the Five-Headed Dragon Monster with his battle axe in hand.
"Roar--"
The dragon monster let out a hoarse roar, its eyes revealing the joy of food being delivered to its door. It never expected that these "little guys" would rush up to their deaths without any fear.
"Frenzied Strike!"
The Born Battle Maniac leaped high into the air, wielding his battle axe, and slashed fiercely at one of the dragon monster's necks.
"When!"
Sparks flew as the axe struck the scales precisely.
The Fighter's power could cause the dragon monster excruciating pain even through its scales, as its flesh was violently pounded.
The Five-Headed Dragon Monster roared, twisting its massive body. Its two heads stretched out from its sides, taking over the view, and launched a bite attack on the Born Battle Maniac from above.
Once those sharp fangs pierce flesh, even Barbarian, Born Battle Maniac with thick skin, would likely be pierced through and die on the spot.
Singo, who was watching from a distance, quickly shouted:
"Steamed Bun!"
"I'm here, War Maniac Bro!"
Seizing the Steamed Bun, Mantou charged up from the side and plunged his sword into the exposed skin of the Five-Headed Dragon Monster.
"The Tide-Like Movements!"
He activated his Fighter abilities, his movements becoming incredibly swift, his arms almost leaving afterimages as he swung his sword repeatedly, leaving bloody wounds on the dragon monster's body.
"Aww—"
It raised its head and howled because of the pain.
But this dragon monster had five heads, and soon three of them attacked the Steamed Bun at the same time, while its huge claws repeatedly stomped on it.
Even with its Tide-Like Movements, Steamed Bun was still struggling to keep up, leaping and dodging like a grasshopper, unable to mount a counterattack.
"Bang!"
The Born Battle Maniac received special attention, being struck head-on by the thick, long tail and sent flying several meters. He rolled more than ten times on the ground before crashing heavily into the wall.
