Beelzebub was the Plague Demon King. His blood contained deadly poison and had to be dealt with properly, or New York might suffer a plague outbreak. That would be troublesome; this world had far fewer brilliant scientists than the other two universes.

Seeing Beelzebub badly wounded, Prince Naberious looked utterly incredulous. Hadn't Beelzebub taken control of those blood threads? Why had they suddenly gone out of control? This defied all magical logic.
Beelzebub had the same question. He had only just finished lecturing his foolish son, yet in the blink of an eye, he had become a foolish Demon King himself.
The superheroes, by contrast, froze for a moment before breaking into cheers. Sure enough, you could always trust the Director of S.W.O.R.D.
In the Losers Alliance, Chthon and his two companions looked at the Three-tailed Demon King simultaneously. The message in their eyes was clear: See? We told you.
Wade hadn't moved in sync with the three at first. Seeing what they were doing, he hurriedly planted his hands on his hips and tilted his nostrils toward the Three-tailed Demon King, looking supremely arrogant.

Chthon shared his experience with the Three-tailed Demon King. "I know you've always thought the three of us were cowards, scared out of our wits by the Mechanical Demon King. But the truth isn't that we're scared. It's that he really is that formidable. He embodies miracles."
