Chthon said, "Demon, if you're willing to do this, I can offer you substantial benefits. Trading one avatar for such gains, you definitely won't lose out."
Demon hesitated. Chthon had a point. Trading an avatar for substantial benefits was indeed no loss—he might even profit. The problem was that it would be humiliating.
