Old-fashioned beings cared more about their pride. Under normal circumstances, they would not do anything disgraceful.
Of course, that was only under normal circumstances. If they encountered special circumstances, one would discover that old-fashioned people could be far more ruthless than newer ones.
The Intermediary truly would not do such a thing now, because in his heart, only the Scripted World mattered. He could not be bothered with anything else.
King of Negativity let out a breath and accepted Chthon's explanation. Then, gritting his teeth, he said, "Fine, The Intermediary. Tell the Mechanical Demon King that I agree. I'll provide the resources he's supposed to contribute. Hurry up and tell me how to break the curse."
The Intermediary did not waste any words. He directly contacted Andrew.
Andrew smiled and told The Intermediary how to break the curse. Then he said, "Tell him about my cheating method as well. Oh, and don't tell Chthon and the others."
"Fine."
The Intermediary agreed indifferently. Then, he relayed the method of breaking the curse to King of Negativity. "All right, the matter is settled. You can leave now. Also, prepare the resources as quickly as possible. I can't wait to see the New Scripted World come into being."
