Chapter Summaries

After Steppenwolf abducted Syndrome, the two villains planned to use the Mother Box to build a gene-replicating robot and upgrade Steppenwolf’s armor. They began collecting genetic samples, and their agents broke into Mr. Power’s home, where Third Child transformed and struck one of them.

• Steppenwolf escaped with Syndrome, and Mary and Andrew failed to track them; Raven and Zatanna divined Mars as a decoy location and inferred that a mage was helping Steppenwolf conceal his trail.
