The Three Xiao Sisters and Kong Xuan rescued Zhao Gongming and challenged the Exposition Sect, but Kong Xuan’s battle with Yuanshi Tianzun was overtaken by Wutian, a heart-demon ancestor born from Taiyi’s divine sense. The Sages struggled against Wutian as Di Xin arrived to share a story from another timeline with Tongtian.

• Lu Ya used the Seven Arrows Book with Nailhead to curse Zhao Gongming, while the Three Xiao Sisters fought to rescue their brother and Yunxiao uncovered the Exposition Sect’s trap.
• Taiyi’s inner-demon power corrupted Chen Jiugong and Yao Shaosi, who killed Juliusun and Grand Master Lingbao as they traveled to seek Kong Xuan.
• Kong Xuan and Nezha stole Zhao Gongming’s straw effigy from the Zhou Camp, and Kong Xuan used it to restore Zhao Gongming’s souls and spirits.
• The Three Xiao Sisters defeated the Exposition Sect immortals with the Nine Bends Yellow River Formation and killed Real Person Taiyi.
• Heart Demon Kong Xuan challenged Yuanshi Tianzun, who defeated him and pinned him beneath Qilin Cliff with the Qilin Seal.
• Wutian emerged from the chaos, possessed Kong Xuan, and fought Yuanshi Tianzun with the reverse Five Elements and Fantian Seal.
• Wutian shattered Yuanshi Tianzun’s Pangu Banner attack, leaving Laozi, Tongtian, Nüwa, Zhunti, and Jieyin alarmed by his power.
• Di Xin arrived at Biling Palace with the Golden Winged Great Peng and told Tongtian that the jade slip he presented contained a story from another timeline, extracted by Taiyi.

Tongtian broke with Laozi and Yuanshi, while Taiyi secured Nüwa’s support against the Sages. The four Sages entered Tongtian’s formation, and the battle left Yuanshi near death as Laozi invoked the Heavenly Dao against Tongtian.

• Di Xin persuaded Tongtian that Laozi and Yuanshi had turned against him, and Tongtian severed his ties with Yuanshi and declared he would also cut down Laozi.
• Wutian revealed the return of the Devil Dao, spreading heart demons across the Primordial World before Tongtian formed the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation and gave Yuanshi three thousand years to prepare.
• Taiyi visited Nüwa, exposed Yuanshi’s schemes and the Western Sages’ influence over Di Xin, and persuaded her to join the Alliance of Immortals and Demons.
• Nüwa attacked Western Paradise with the Red Embroidered Ball, and Laozi, Yuanshi, Zhunti, and Jieyin later joined forces to challenge Tongtian’s formation.
• Tongtian defeated Laozi’s One Qi Transforms into Three Purities and damaged his treasures, but Laozi and Yuanshi brought Zhunti and Jieyin to help break the formation.
• Nüwa joined Tongtian inside the formation, where the four Sages attacked them and Tongtian’s sword strikes split Zhunti’s Seven Treasure Wonderful Brush Tree.

Tongtian defeated the Three Sects, completed the Investiture of the Gods, and helped restore the Primordial Continent under the Heavenly Dao’s direction. Taiyi continued cultivating as Zhen Yuanzi prepared to prove Dao, while Laozi and Yuanshi Tianzun were revived.

• Taiyi began comprehending the Innate Five Tai Great Daos as Tongtian fought Laozi and Yuanshi, and Nüwa captured Zhunti and Jieyin in the Rivers and Mountains Map.
• Tongtian killed Yuanshi and Laozi, shattered the Primordial Continent with the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, and destroyed the Exposition and Western Sects, while Shen Gongbao took charge of the Investiture of the Gods.
• Hongjun summoned Tongtian, Nüwa, Zhunti, and Jieyin to Purple Cloud Palace, ordered Tongtian to complete the investiture, and forbade him from interfering in human dynasties.
• Tongtian and Haotian arranged for Interception Sect disciples to receive heavenly offices, and Shen Gongbao conducted the investiture with Tongtian appointed Great Emperor of the North Star.

• Taiyi mastered the Great Dao of Artifacts as the Heavenly Dao revived Taiqing Laozi and Yuanshi Tianzun, and Tongtian defeated Yuanshi Tianzun in their rematch.
• Taiyi protected Zhen Yuanzi as he proved the Great Dao of Earth, and the Heavenly Dao offered him a Sage Seat.
