The magnificent Precision Power Armor slammed brutally into the heavy wall, shattering its ornate decorations and exposing the raw, unadorned color of steel beneath.

"That's impossible!" Akalin struggled to rise from the ground, blood spilling from his mouth. A terrifying dent had appeared in the heavy Power Armor over his chest.

Even under the protection of Precision Power Armor, the ribs in his chest had been shattered by Korax's kick. The armor's built-in life-support system was frantically injecting every precious drug it contained into its wearer to maintain Akalin's vital signs.

"You're just as weak and useless as your guards," Korax said without mercy.

Akalin had sent messages to his guards long ago, yet apart from the old butler and several guards in the room, not a single person had rushed in to save their master.

The only passage leading to this room had long since fallen into darkness. The corridor, less than a hundred meters long, had become the final obstacle separating the private guards from their master.

That distance was like an abyss, an insurmountable chasm that cut off everything.

Three Sentinel Mechs, controlled by the enemy, stood firmly guard at the door.
