"Uchiha Ye Fan?!"

Sakura and the others were instantly confused and bewildered.

Didn't the Uchiha clan get wiped out, leaving only Sasuke and a rogue ninja?

Ye Fan looked to be about their age, and he certainly didn't look like a rogue ninja!

Naruto's reaction, however, was completely different.

"You're... you're Steel-Piercing Ye Fan!"

Naruto was incredibly excited. He took two steps at once and ran up to Ye Fan, looking him up and down.

"It's been a long time. You've grown so much?"

"You're a little taller than me, and even more handsome. You look even handsomer than Sasuke!"

"Naruto, long time no see."

Ye Fan smiled warmly, completely ignoring the angry Sasuke.

"Naruto, you know him?"

Sakura seemed surprised. Looking at Ye Fan, she became infatuated, her face flushing as red as a monkey's behind.

"It seems... it really looks like... he's even more handsome than Sasuke..."

"No..." Sakura shook her head. "I like Sasuke, I can't like anyone else!"

"Haha, let me introduce you all. Ye Fan is my good friend. We've known each other since we were kids!"

Naruto said with a boisterous laugh.

Seeing his childhood friend, Naruto was overjoyed.

When he was little, Naruto was ostracized by everyone in the village, and so was Ye Fan.

Because of this, the two of them had a lot in common, and Ye Fan was happy to hang out with Naruto.

Ye Fan greatly admired Naruto's never-give-up spirit and his optimistic attitude no matter what happened.

"You've known each other since you were kids?"

Sakura frowned, her mind racing back through memories.

Suddenly, she remembered the child who often played with Naruto when they were young, and she cried out, "You're that Plague God from the Uchiha clan?!"

"You're still alive!"

Hearing this, Rock Lee also remembered the incident.

The matter of the Uchiha clan having a Plague God back then had caused quite a stir in Konoha.

The Uchiha clan was born with the Sharingan bloodline.

Most Uchiha clan members could awaken it. Even those who couldn't awaken it in their lifetime still had Uchiha blood flowing through them.

However, Ye Fan was different.

Even though both his parents were Uchiha clan members, he didn't have a trace of Uchiha bloodline and no Kekkei Genkai at all!

This was discovered by the Uchiha clan members as soon as he was born.

An Uchiha clan member without any Kekkei Genkai was like an anomaly.

At some point, a rumor spread among the Uchiha clan.

Ye Fan was a Plague God, a Plague God who would bring disaster to the Uchiha clan and even the entire Konoha!

The year after Ye Fan was born, the Nine-Tails' Rampage occurred in Konoha, and the Uchiha clan was completely pushed to the fringes of society because of it.

After this incident, the rumor of Ye Fan being a Plague God intensified.

Ye Fan's family became like rats scurrying across the street, hated by everyone.

The Uchiha clan's higher-ups constantly pressured the clan head, Uchiha Fugaku, to punish Ye Fan, to kill Ye Fan, and eliminate any future trouble.

Uchiha Fugaku didn't believe the rumors and suppressed the whispers several times, but he couldn't stop them.

Almost all the Uchiha clan members wanted Ye Fan dead!

To protect Ye Fan's life, his parents chose to atone with their deaths, begging for them to spare Ye Fan.

After Ye Fan's parents died, the situation improved slightly, but many Uchiha still wanted Ye Fan dead.

It wasn't until Ye Fan was almost four years old that the Uchiha clan faced its doom!

In that battle, Ye Fan used all his strength to survive and escaped Konoha, eventually being taken in by Jiraiya.

Everyone thought Ye Fan had died in that battle, and the story of him being a Plague God continued to spread even after the Uchiha clan's demise.

Ye Fan's reappearance in Konoha today had exceeded too many people's expectations and shocked too many.

"Ye Fan isn't a Plague God, he's my good friend!"

Naruto, who always liked Sakura very much, became somewhat angry when he heard her say that.

Even after so many years, Naruto's memories of his childhood were still vivid.

Ye Fan was like a light in his life, illuminating those incredibly dark days.

For a moment, Sakura was startled by Naruto's sudden change in attitude.

He believed that if not for the appearance of Ye Fan, the Plague God, the Uchiha clan might not have been destroyed!

Back then, he thought Ye Fan was already dead, so he had been training hard, wanting to get revenge on Itachi.

Now, seeing Ye Fan again, he had naturally added another person to his kill list.

"You want to kill me?"

Ye Fan looked at Sasuke, who had activated his Two-Tomoe Sharingan, and burst out laughing. He couldn't hold it in any longer.

"Naruto, get lost!"

"If you're going to stop me from killing him, I don't mind killing you too!"

"Sasuke... you... Naruto is our comrade! How can you say that!"

Sakura spoke up to persuade him.

Ye Fan looked at Sakura, unable to feel any affection for her.

Sakura was treating him like King Xuan of Qi, calling for Zhong Wuyan when she needed something and Xia Yingchun when she didn't.

"Comrade?" Sasuke sneered. "Anyone who stops me from getting revenge is not my comrade!"

"Sasuke, I understand how you feel, but the destruction of the Uchiha clan has nothing to do with Ye Fan."

Naruto spread his arms, blocking Ye Fan, his gaze resolute.

"Although Ye Fan is from your Uchiha clan, he's different from you. He doesn't have the Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan, that you're so proud of!"

"If you're determined to kill him, don't blame me. I'll beat you until you don't want to kill him anymore!"

"Heh heh, Naruto, you coward, how dare you talk so big!"

"I don't mind killing you too!"

Sasuke roared and charged at Naruto.

He planned to beat Naruto down first, then kill Ye Fan!

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

Sasuke quickly formed hand seals and spat out a fireball from his mouth towards Naruto.

Seeing this, Naruto immediately pulled Ye Fan to dodge.

"Ye Fan, you're no match for Sasuke. You should hide further away!"

"Don't worry, as long as I'm here, I'll never let Sasuke hurt you!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Naruto clenched his fist and was about to attack Sasuke.

"Naruto, let me handle this."

Ye Fan grabbed Naruto's hand and looked at Sasuke with a calm expression.
