Background / History

Li Yi founded the Witch God Sect after constructing a floating ancient city and erecting a black stone tablet bearing the sect’s name. The sect’s arrival in the Unordered Domain immediately threatened neighboring interests, prompting nearby factions to investigate and prepare an attack. 343 344

Its first major crisis came when Sars, the Wolf Demon, and the General attacked with nearly ten thousand cultivators. Li Yi used the sect formation while the Main Body confronted the Monarchs; the Wolf Demon died, while Sars and the General were subdued through soul-origin runes and incorporated as elders. 345 346

The sect survived a later assault by four black-robed Eight Tribulation Monarchs acting for the Saint Race. Although its original site was devastated, Li Yi activated his mysterious left hand and captured the attackers’ Divine Kingdoms. The display forced the seven great powers to abandon open hostility and seek friendship. 350 352

After the Main Body’s breakthrough, Li Yi launched a campaign across the Eastern District. The sect’s armies absorbed submitting forces, defeated opposing alliances, and ultimately secured the surrender of the whole district. 358 360 362 369
