Li Yi awakens in Chaos as a Chaos primordial spirit and, after reaching Golden Immortal, focuses on rapid cultivation before karma and the division of Chaos can constrain him. He later forges an enormous Demon Body, becomes one of the Three Thousand Divine Demons, and gains the Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal position of the Origin rank. 1 2

Pangu’s essence blood profoundly shapes Li Yi’s path. After consuming refined essence blood from Pangu’s arm, he possesses a Pangu bloodline stated to be purer than that of the Witch Clan. This bloodline creates a connection between him, the Twelve Ancestral Witches, and the Witch Clan. 11

After reaching Penglai Island, Li Yi divides his work with his Main Body: the Main Body strengthens its Demon Body and comprehends laws, while Li Yi’s Azure Lotus clone pursues the sword path. He creates the clone by placing a portion of his soul into the Twelve-Petal Azure Lotus. 8
