Background

Qian Renxue is the granddaughter of Qian Daoliu, the Great Enshrined of Spirit Hall, and the daughter of Bibi Dong. As the Angel lineage’s direct heir, she possesses Innate Soul Power of level twenty and the God-tier Six-winged Angel Martial Soul. She was sent from the Worship Hall to infiltrate the Heaven Dou Imperial Family, adopting the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe from childhood. 1 32 37

While operating as Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue works to seize control of Heaven Dou. The deaths of the Second and Third Princes are linked to her scheme, leaving Xue Beng as the principal remaining threat to her succession. Her greatest concern is not the imperial family, but Luo Li: his military influence and refusal to take sides make him capable of disrupting her plan at any time. 1 8

Initially, she seeks to recruit and control Luo Li because of his talent and influence. After he assures her that he has no interest in imperial power, her political hostility eases, but her fixation on “conquering” him becomes more personal.
