Southeast of Lake Mobius.

Inside the exploration ship by the shore.

Kevin and the others were sitting on the deck.

Buhaci was using the portable grill carried aboard the ship to roast an ingredient resembling an octopus tentacle.

This tentacle was enormous, nearly filling the entire grill, yet it seemed to be merely the tip of an even larger tentacle.

Its aroma drifted faintly through the air.

"The moon on the Dark Continent doesn't look much different from the one in human society."

It was rare for them to have such leisure.

They sat on the deck, admiring the moon.

The sky was exceptionally clear today. A full moon hung high overhead, bright and gleaming.

"It doesn't just look the same. Even its size, distance, and position seem similar."

Men Qi suddenly said as she looked up.

Kiy did not quite understand. "What do you mean?"

Kevin glanced at him and explained, "Based on the positions of the stars and other celestial bodies, people can determine where they are.

"More importantly, those celestial bodies can also be used for calculations—calculations that reveal the size of the entire planet."

This world was absurd.

It differed greatly from the world Kevin had once known, and the greatest difference was its exploration of the starry sky.

This world had no airplanes.

In human society, all aerial transportation relied on airships.

According to the information Kevin possessed, a major reason was that both the human world and the skies above the Dark Continent had their own ecosystems.

Flying creatures lived at those heights, and some of them were equally powerful.

That environment had strangled the possibility of airplanes from the very beginning.

Instead, airships—those things neither here nor there—had survived and developed.

Correspondingly, this world's exploration beyond the stars was almost nonexistent.

Rockets simply
