The Problem of Space Survival
Jonathan once told Clark to wait until he was ready to face everything before deciding whether to step forward and face the world's gaze. After more than a year of change, Clark felt he was ready!
When Clark returned to the Kent Farm, Robet's injuries had mostly healed. Sensing Clark's aura, his eyes lit up, and he swiftly appeared before Clark, asking expectantly, "How was it? Clark, who was stronger between you and him? Who won?"
"Then naturally I won." Clark looked Robet up and down, and only after seeing that Robet's injuries had indeed healed did he breathe a sigh of relief. He glared at Robet and said, "Next time you encounter an enemy you can't beat, don't rush in so recklessly!"
"But how will you know if you can win if you don't charge in?" Robet shrugged, looking at Clark with a somewhat innocent expression, and asked, "Clark, can you really tell the exact combat strength of each person right now?"
"No." Clark paused for a moment. He realized that there seemed to be a problem. Even he himself could not determine the strength of a superhuman, even with his X-Ray Vision.
"Yeah! You can't tell the difference between your opponent's strength and weakness, so why did you go and cause trouble for that Green-skinned Man?" Robet asked Clark again, looking at him sarcastically.
"Because I'm confident in my abilities!" Clark replied irritably.
"I'm confident in my own abilities! Besides, how could I let this opportunity pass me by when I've encountered such a powerful opponent? And he's here to cause trouble anyway..." Robet said matter-of-factly.
"Wait until you can beat me before you're confident in your abilities!" Clark glared at Robet, then explained, "I fought that Martian, and I found out he's not actually a bad guy..."
"What? How is that possible? That guy looks like that, and his aura is so strange, how could he not be a bad person?" Robet exclaimed in surprise as he looked at Clark.
"Huh? No, he's Martian? Are there humans on Mars? Mars is so close to Earth, how come they haven't been discovered by humans?"
"I passed by Mars when I fought him, and there was no sign of life there anymore. So it seems he, like us, is one of the last survivors of a planet..." Clark shook his head and said softly, "Mars wasn't Devastation, but its civilization has also perished. However, you won't encounter him again. He promised to stay away from you if he senses you..."
"So they're not enemies anymore?" Robet raised an eyebrow. Then, realizing something, he looked at Clark with a surprised expression and asked, "Wait! You just said you passed by Mars? You went to fight in space? Clark, can you survive in space? Don't tell me you've spent the last three days in space..."
"Yes! Not only me, but that Martian can also survive in space. However, from what I've observed of you, it seems you can't do that yet, so don't say you're confident anymore." Clark looked at Robet seriously and warned him.
"That is indeed a problem, and I don't know if I can overcome it..." This time, Robet did not refute Clark's words, but instead seriously pondered how to survive in space.
When there is air, Robet can use it to form a barrier on the surface of his body, temporarily isolating him from the vacuum environment, and creating a closed loop inside his body.
But this is definitely not a long-term solution, because Qi is consumed, especially if Robet fights in a space environment, the consumption of Qi will be even greater!
"Could Namekian survive in space?" Robet thought of Martian Manhunter, who was somewhat similar to Piccolo, and then realized that he seemed to possess some untapped abilities.
"Hmm... that doesn't seem likely. I remember Namek sacrificed its planetary environment, resulting in the destruction of its atmosphere, and Cosmic Rays killed a large number of Namekian. If they could survive in space, then they shouldn't be harmed or affected by Cosmic Rays..."
"What about Transformation Technique Transformation Technique? Could they help me survive in space? And would I possess abilities from other races? After all, it seems that ultimate potential isn't limited to Saiyan abilities; there are likely many other abilities waiting for me to develop, so having space survival skills in the future isn't impossible..."
"Robet, what are you thinking about? Why aren't you saying anything?" Seeing Robet fall silent, Clark frowned and gently comforted him, "Not being able to survive in space isn't a big problem. With your Transformation Technique, it's not impossible for you to conjure up a spacesuit, it just won't be convenient for you to fight."
"Hmm, that's one solution." Robet nodded in agreement, snapping out of his reverie.
If you are accidentally knocked into space by the enemy, you can use this method to temporarily transition. Although it will temporarily affect your combat effectiveness, it can also give Robet a buffer period.
"Clark, you're back!" Just as the two brothers were talking, the Kents and the Danvers came out. The Kents breathed a sigh of relief and called out softly to Clark in mid-air.
"I'm sorry to have worried you. I thought I would be back soon..." Clark said apologetically to the Kents in a low voice.
"It's alright, as long as you're back safe and sound! How are you? Are you hurt?" Martha looked at Clark as he slowly descended, hurriedly went forward, and carefully examined Clark's body before asking with concern.
There was no other way; given Robet's injury, Martha was very worried that Clark would suffer the same injury. Martha knew Clark was powerful, but Martha didn't really grasp the extent of that power.
Just like before, Martha thought Robet also very powerful, but then Robet had a big hole in his stomach and was carried back by Kara, and only woke up after being unconscious for a day.
"Don't worry, I'm not hurt." Clark struck a few poses, showing off his strong physique, and joked with Martha, Jonathan, and the others, "I'm much stronger than Robet, I definitely won't come back covered in injuries!"
"Tch! If I stay out for three days, I won't come back with any injuries!" Robet understood Clark's actions and deliberately shouted in dissatisfaction, while the two brothers worked together to ease Martha and Jonathan's tension.
"However, Clark's physique is indeed much stronger than mine. It feels like no matter how powerful the attack, it wouldn't be able to break through Clark defenses. It's truly a pity..."
