If You Do It Again, It's Rude
"Definitely, and perhaps not even two years, because after I become an adult, my body will be fully mature in every way, and my growth rate will definitely be faster!" Robet said firmly, unaware that Diana had already considered so many issues.
If Robet and the Kents had previously suspected that Robet hadn't been eating enough for fifteen years, leading to stunted growth and his short stature at fifteen, the Kents now avoid discussing the matter.
After all, Robet eats more than anyone else, yet he hasn't changed at all. In the Kents' view, there might be something wrong with Robet's alien race; perhaps this race can only grow to this height. They worry, but there's nothing they can do, as long as Kara doesn't mind.
Robet wasn't in a hurry to grow taller, because that's how Saiyan do grow: one as an infant, one as a teenager, and one as an adult.
Furthermore, when Robert was Robet's age, Son Goku was only a little over a meter tall, so Robet believed that he would definitely be taller than Son Goku when he grew up...
"That's good..." Diana breathed a slight sigh of relief, but she was still clearly somewhat skeptical, seemingly still wondering what would happen if Robet really didn't grow up.
"I'm so hungry, I'll go get something to eat!" Robet glanced suspiciously at Diana, who was clearly still in a daze, wondering where her thoughts had wandered off to. Why was she so engrossed in the intense battle just moments ago, and now she seemed to be completely lost in thought?
However, Robet did not explore further. Instead, after regaining some strength, he vanished and went to get something to eat.
Soon, after Robet and Diana finished eating and cleaned up the battlefield, removing all traces of the battle, they flew back to Diana's home. Clark also quickly looked away.
Before Clark, it was fine to peek at Robet's fight, but it would be impolite to continue watching after Robet and Diana returned home...
"Go take a shower, you're all dirty..." After returning home, Diana seemed to recall the scene of helping Robet bathe earlier, and a blush flashed across her cheeks, but she quickly covered it up, glancing at Robet and saying it casually.
"Oh, I see." Robet. Although he had restored his damaged clothes after the battle with his Transformation Technique, he still needed to wash up his injuries and his disheveled appearance.
Soon, Robet went into the bathroom to take a shower, while Diana, standing outside, recalled the image of seeing Robet's tail earlier. She then lightly scoffed and muttered, "Why are you so distracted after fighting Robet? Never mind, I'll think about it after he beats me!"
And so, Diana pulled herself together, calmed herself, and stopped thinking about whether Robet would grow up and have a tail, because it would be impolite to think about it any further.
Robet and Diana were resting after their fierce battle, while on the other side, at Baron Strucker's base, Hak foo arrived in Valmont's private jet.
Baron Strucker paused for a moment when he saw Hak foo, then chuckled and said, "I thought it would be Valmont coming to see me in person, but it turns out it's just you alone?"
"I am enough on my own," Hak foo said arrogantly, glancing at Baron Strucker. "After all, you don't have any experts here worth the trouble, boss..."
"Do you think all my Animal Warriors are dead and you have no one else to use?" Baron Strucker asked with a cold smile. "I just finished dealing with Pierce and I'm really annoyed. You've come over so I can vent my anger. I might consider going back with you..."
"Dream on! Watch my Flying Hammer Strike, Cat Landing, Bear Paw Strike, Cat Shaking Water, Cat Turning..." A cold glint flashed in Hak foo's eyes. He leaped up and pounced directly on Baron Strucker. Even with Robet's earlier reminder, Hak foo still hadn't changed his habit of shouting out the names of his moves while fighting.
However, to Hak foo's surprise, Baron Strucker kept dodging and avoided all of Afu's attacks. Hak foo's attacks hit the ground and walls around him, creating large craters, but they did not cause Baron Strucker any damage. It was as if Baron Strucker had seen through all of Hak foo's moves!
"No! There's something wrong with you! Your glasses!" After missing his attacks a few times, Hak foo stopped and cautiously examined Baron Strucker. He noticed Baron Strucker's slightly different glasses and immediately realized something was amiss.
"Not bad, it seems you're not too stupid. To be honest, I'm quite curious about you. If you were transformed into Animal Warriors, I wonder if you would still be able to pronounce those strange names..." Baron Strucker said, his eyes shining as he looked at Hak foo. Suddenly, a burst of electricity shot out from his arm.
"Boom!" Hak foo's pupils contracted sharply as he watched the incoming electric current, followed by an explosion that echoed around him. Smoke and dust filled the base, obscuring what had happened.
"Angry Crow Takeoff!" Hak foo's voice echoed through the dust and smoke. He seemed unaffected by the electric shock and had even launched a counterattack.
With a loud "Bang!" followed by another collision sound, Hak foo's surprised and doubtful voice rang out. "What? How is this possible?! You actually have such great strength?"
"Why would anyone think I can bestow great power upon others while I myself cannot?" Baron Strucker's sneer echoed around them. "And don't you think you'd have a greater advantage fighting amidst the smoke and dust?"
With a loud "thud," as Baron Strucker finished speaking, Hak foo's body flew out of the dust and landed somewhat awkwardly on the ground.
Hak foo was filled with doubt and surprise. He had not expected that Baron Strucker, whom he regarded as a civil servant, would have such terrifying combat power!
It's important to know that Hak foo was already a martial arts master, and after obtaining the Super Soldier Serum, his strength increased even more significantly. In many aspects, he not only surpassed all the Super Soldier, but was also stronger than the Animal Warriors developed by Baron Strucker!
Unfortunately, just as Baron Strucker said, since he could already bestow such great power upon those Animal Warriors and research so many extraordinary abilities, why wouldn't he modify himself as well?
After all, in such a dangerous world, no matter how powerful your subordinates are, you cannot guarantee your own safety. Only your own strength is true strength. The ultimate goal of all research is to improve yourself!
Of course, the purpose of subordinates and research is to learn from mistakes. Baron Strucker made many mistakes, but he also succeeded many times. And these successes, one after another, endowed him with various different abilities...
"Click! Click!" Just as Hak foo was filled with doubt and uncertainty, Baron Strucker's footsteps slowly emerged from the dust, which made Hak foo's alarm bells ring loudly and bring him back to his senses.
"Damn it! How is this possible..." Hak foo thought of Valmont's warning to him earlier. He admitted that he had been a little careless. His brain, which he hadn't used much, was now working at a rapid pace, recalling what Valmont had told him.
"If that doesn't work, then find a way to lure him here. Use the Alexander Pierce incident to provoke him, but don't be too rigid, understand? Also, and most importantly, bring back the Monkey Talisman. Even if we ultimately fail to bring Baron Strucker back, the Monkey Talisman must be absolutely safe!"
"Alexander Pierce ... Monkey Talisman ..." Hak foo thought of two keywords, looked up and was about to say something when he suddenly saw the Monkey Talisman placed on the experimental table not far away, while Baron Strucker was obviously farther away from the experimental table!
"An opportunity!" At this moment, Hak foo was too lazy to think about why Baron Strucker was so powerful. He only had one thought in mind: to seize the Monkey Talisman and then find a way to leave this place!
"What are you looking at?" Just then, Baron Strucker slowly emerged from the dissipating dust, looking at Hak foo with a sneer, and said, "Well? Will you accept my suggestion? If you were to experiment, you would definitely be much stronger than you are now..."
"Do you know how my Animal Warriors regained their sanity? It's because they were already successful recipients of the Super Soldier Serum. It's just a pity their powers weren't superimposed, which has always been a regret of mine..."
"But you're different. You seem very special; maybe you can work miracles? Of course, even if you fail, it's not a big deal. Your boss will give you a proper send-off... Hmm?!"
"Sickle Sweeping!" Before Baron Strucker could finish speaking, Hak foo suddenly shouted, and with a stomp of his foot, a large number of floor tiles were Hak foo away, turning into countless pieces of gravel that crashed towards Baron Strucker.
"Shit!" Baron Strucker cursed under his breath, dodging the flying pebbles. Just then, Hak foo suddenly exerted force with all four limbs, leaping up and lunging towards the experimental table, grabbing the Monkey Talisman without any hindrance!
"So easy?" A thought flashed through Hak foo's mind. Suddenly, he sensed a danger and instinctively dodged away.
"Boom!" A bolt of electricity blasted the experimental table away on the spot, and dust billowed up again. A figure was moving swiftly through the dust, escaping outwards, taking down a group of Hydra Soldiers rushed over along the way, before making its way away.
"Don't run!" Hak foo heard Baron Strucker's angry shout from behind, Alfred's lips curled into a smug smile.
"So what if you're strong? So what if you have a lot of abilities? You're just a researcher who doesn't seem as smart as me. Go ahead and eat my dust!" Hak foo sneered as he ran.
But what Hak foo didn't know was that no one was chasing him at all. Baron Strucker quietly watched the direction Hak foo fled, a slight smile playing on his lips, followed by a hint of regret.
"What a pity, this is indeed an excellent experimental subject! If we had used him for experiments, we might have been able to create perfect Animal Warriors..." Baron Strucker sighed softly after a long pause.
"However, it doesn't matter anymore. It's time to lie low for a while. Valmont is about to make his move. He's definitely going to take back the Monkey Talisman. I've just lost some men and am being targeted by that guy Pierce. It's not a good time to keep clashing with him. Otherwise, who knows who will be working for whom!"
"You may not know this, but I stole a huge amount of energy from the Monkey Talisman, just like I did with the Tesseract. You take the Monkey Talisman with you, and I'll find a place to hide and continue my research. Let's see who succeeds!"
Yes, it was Baron Strucker's doing to have the Monkey Talisman stolen. He thought Valmont would understand his meaning, and it would be impolite for him to cause him further trouble after that!
