Devouring His Sister and the Gems
"I think there must be some kind of connection!" Robet said, looking at Carol beside him. "Since this is a supernatural item from the universe, didn't you hear of anyone collecting it before? It's clearly a set of items, and collecting it has the function of fulfilling wishes. Isn't it obvious that it's meant to be collected by people?"
Robet had previously traveled through the Dragon Ball World, was already very familiar with this trope. However, the Infinity Stones ' scope had expanded to the cosmic level, meaning the danger was likely greater. Perhaps, like Zamasu in Dragon Ball Super, it would wreak havoc on a certain universe...
"I've never heard of them. I've only ever dealt with the Space Stone. As for the other Infinity Stones, I've only heard their legends, and no one seems to be collecting information about them." Carol shook her head, unfazed by Robet's reminder, and said softly, "Besides, as Jor-El said, the universe is vast and boundless, and there are only Six Infinity Stones. Finding them is incredibly difficult, especially for most people; the Infinity Stones are merely a legend..."
Even if someone were as lucky as Earth and obtained one of the Infinity Stones, it would still be impossible to monitor the entire universe and find the next Infinity Stones.
"Yes, before Bulma found the Dragon Ball, everyone thought that the Dragon Ball and Shenron were just a legend. But when ambitious people set their sights on such treasures, trouble really begins..." Robet had a thought flash through his mind when he heard Carol's words, but he didn't say it aloud.
Robet had already prepared for the world to face crises at any moment. The appearance of the Infinity Stones only strengthened Robet's belief that he had not been wrong. Since Carol did not believe it now, Carol should realize how wrong she was when the Infinity Stones were actually targeted!
"Bang bang bang!"
"Bang bang bang!"
Just as Robet and the others were discussing the Infinity Stones, a knock suddenly came at the door. This startled Robet, Carol, and even Clark. They were on Savage Island, and although there was a base nearby, they weren't inside the building. So why was there a knock?
"Is anyone there? Robet, are you in there? I can smell you. You taste even better than before. There seem to be two more delicious things next to you..." Just as Robet and the others were still in a daze, a hesitant voice reached Robet ears, "No, you all have the aura of Earth. You can't eat them. I have to resist. Robet, if you're not going to say anything, then I'll come in?"
"Crack!" Just as this sound fell, the entire Subspace seemed to collapse under the strain, and a faint sound of shattering could be heard.
With a "whoosh," an invisible force enveloped the Subspace, followed by a slightly embarrassed voice cautiously saying, "Phew! Luckily I reacted quickly, or I would have torn your house down..."
"Is it her?" Upon hearing this voice, Robet recalled his only crushing defeat in a competitive eating contest. It was against a girl who seemed to be a cosmic deity, someone who could eat a lot and was incredibly gluttonous, even appearing to be more gluttonous than Beerus.
"Who is it?!" Carol's expression was unusually serious. She frowned and looked at Robet as she asked, when she suddenly noticed a figure standing next to her.
"So you're here after all. My name is..." Galacta waved to Robet, about to say something.
"Your name is Galacta, I remember you!" Robet interrupted Galacta's self-introduction with a smile, but Galacta didn't seem angry at all; instead, she became even happier.
"You remember me? That's great! I've come to visit you. Have you prepared some delicious food to treat me?" Galacta completely ignored Carol, who looked like she was facing a formidable enemy, and skipped over to Robet, looking at Robet expectantly as she asked.
"How about Dinosaur? There are quite a few Dinosaur on this island. I usually like to eat Dinosaur..." Robet pondered for a moment, then looked at Galacta and asked.
On this Savage Island, there's not much else, but there are plenty of Dinosaur. Even with Robet's eating speed, the number of Dinosaur on the island hasn't decreased at all. All things considered, this Savage Island is quite large.
Moreover, Robet's addition merely adds another link to the food chain on the Savage Island, and its impact is not significant, certainly not to the point of disrupting the ecological balance...
"Dinosaur?" Galacta tilted her head, looking in other directions on the Savage Island, then smiled and nodded, saying softly, "Not bad, how's your cooking?"
"Everyone who's tried it says it's delicious!" Robet patted his chest confidently, leading Galacta toward their prey. Robet could sense that this young goddess was even gentler than Beerus, harboring no ill will and not destroying planets at the slightest provocation. She was just a bit greedy, but Robet, being a fellow foodie, felt that this problem could be solved.
For pure foodies, having delicious food is the happiest thing. Food can make them forget everything else and immerse themselves in the joy it brings.
While Robet took Galacta to prepare the food, Clark and Carol did not follow, but stood there with furrowed brows.
"She was just trying to influence my perception, but she didn't succeed..." Clark said telepathically to Carol, looking in the direction of Galacta. "She's trying to make me forget that someone came looking for Robet ..."
"Huh? Robet? What happened to Robet? Didn't he go out on his own?" Carol turned to Clark with some confusion upon hearing Clark words, but as she spoke, Carol frowned, as if she realized something was wrong, but couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"..." Clark paused for a moment after hearing Carol's words, then looked in the direction of Galacta and Robet, only to see Galacta looking at him and smiling at him.
"Don't get distracted while hunting!" Robet, standing next to Galacta, waved her hand to remind her when she noticed Galacta's subtle movements. "They're not very interested in food, so you don't need to worry about them coming to steal it..."
Robet could understand the food-protecting behavior of foodies. However, the fact that Clark and Carol did not follow reminded Robet of the time Clark lost track of him and Kara during the previous competitive eating contest.
Robet knew that Galacta must have used her divine power to influence Clark and Carol, preventing them from disturbing him and Galacta while they enjoyed their meal. Robet didn't know if this power would have any side effects on Clark and Carol, but Robet still reminded Galacta.
"I see?" Galacta tilted her head and looked at Robet seriously, then smiled a little shyly and asked hesitantly, "Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Of course I will. I'm making you a delicious meal, so you can't just watch, right? Help me prepare the ingredients! I'll grill it!" Robet nodded obligingly, and in a flash, he killed a Dinosaur and brought it to Galacta, saying, "I'll go catch some others. You prepare them; one definitely won't be enough for us..."
"Okay!" Galacta nodded happily as she looked at the Dinosaur in front of her, eagerly starting to process the ingredients, waiting for the moment it would be transformed into a delicious meal.
"Hmm? What happened? My consciousness seemed a little hazy?" On the other side, as Galacta began processing the ingredients, Carol's eyes gradually cleared, but a hint of hesitation still flickered in them. Her brows furrowed as she asked, "Where's Robet? He was taken away; I hope he's alright?"
"It's alright, he can handle it. We just shouldn't bother them. Let's continue preparing for the base!" Clark shook his head and said softly, then went back to adding bricks and tiles to the base.
"Did she affect cognition or reality? If the impact on cognition is significant and widespread enough, does that mean that reality has also been altered?" However, Clark's mind was not at peace. He hesitated, his eyes gleaming as he pondered the question.
"Faced with this power, I have the ability to resist, but I don't have the ability to help others break free. Is it because my strength is not strong enough? What exactly is the power of the cosmic god that Robet spoke of?"
Clark's question went unanswered. Meanwhile, Robet and Galacta were happily enjoying their meal. Perhaps because she had participated in the preparation, Galacta was eating with great relish, experiencing no other problems except for a slight lack of energy.
"Are you full?" After a while, Robet had already eaten his fill, looked at the food around him that had been completely devoured, and his lips twitched slightly, much like an ordinary person would feel when they saw the Saiyan's appetite.
Moreover, as someone who could eat a lot, Robet's feelings were rather complicated upon seeing someone who could eat even more than himself. Fortunately, the thought that Galacta was a cosmic deity eased these feelings somewhat.
"Hmm, I'm not full yet, but I don't need to continue. If I eat any more, it will disrupt the balance here..." Galacta licked her lips with lingering satisfaction and said softly, "Then we'll never find such delicious food again. I can't let the pond dry up its fish!"
"Besides, it's normal for me to be hungry. If I ate the whole Earth, I still wouldn't be able to get enough to eat..."
"Hey! Don't talk about eating Earth with that smug look on your face!" Robet couldn't help but remind her after hearing Galacta's words. Cosmic gods are really unreliable. It seems like that in every universe. They either use planets as fireworks or eat them. Either way, Earth is far too dangerous!
These cosmic beings, perhaps because they have lived for far too long, or perhaps because they are simply incapable of communicating with life, appear to lack maturity in their nature...
Of course, the immaturity of their minds is in terms of human standards. More accurately, these cosmic deities act according to their own nature, and they do not need to worry about, change, or hide their personalities.
"I already told you I won't eat the Earth!" Galacta said angrily, glaring at Robet after hearing Robet words.
"I know, I was just reminding you!" Robet waved his hand with a smile, then looked at Galacta curiously and asked, "Where did you go after you left last time? Did you return to your Divine Realm?"
In the Dragon Ball World, there exists the God of Destruction Realm and the Sacred World of the Kai, below which is the Heavenly Realm. It is somewhat similar to the various dimensions in this universe, because the Heavenly Realm contains the location of Hell. Therefore, Robet is also curious whether Galacta went to other dimensions after she left.
"The Divine Realm? I didn't go to a place like that, I just went to sleep..." Galacta paused for a moment, then shook her head and said softly, "Because I don't get enough energy, most of the time I can only pass the time by sleeping, until I'm woken up by hunger again..."
"..." Hearing Galacta's words, Robet looked at Galacta with some sympathy. The feeling of not being able to eat and only being able to sleep must be unpleasant, even for a god like Galacta.
"Haven't you thought about solving the problem of getting hungry? You're a god, solving such a problem shouldn't be too difficult for you, right?" Robet asked, looking at Galacta with some doubt after regaining his senses.
"Gods aren't omnipotent. Whether it's me or my father, we are merely products of the universe's rules. The universe's rules, though seemingly unseen, have granted us immense power, but they have also given us hidden weaknesses that we cannot resist..." Galacta showed no surprise that Robet knew her identity. She lowered her head somewhat listlessly and muttered to herself.
"Hmm? The rules of the universe? The foundation of the universe?" Upon hearing Galacta's words, Robet suddenly thought of the Infinity Stones and tentatively asked, "Galacta, do you know about the Infinity Stones?"
"Yes, I know. My father told me he personally witnessed the Six Infinity Stones appearing at the beginning of the universe..." Galacta nodded, glancing gratefully at Robet. "I know Earth has the Space Stone and the Time Stone, but two Infinity Stones aren't enough to solve my problem, not to mention that one of them is still in the hands of the planet's Guardian!"
"Two Infinity Stones? The planetary Guardian you're talking about, you can't be Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D.., right?" Robet was taken aback. Carol and the others had just said that many civilizations wouldn't even see a single Infinity Stones before their Devastation, and now two had appeared on Earth. Robet felt there was definitely something wrong with this!
"It's the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, Time Stone is a treasure of their lineage..." Although Galacta spent most of her time asleep, she knew more than Robet.
