The Spider Virus Army
The Avengers were unaware that Naxhi was secretly observing them. Not only was Naxhi's stealth ability superior to that of the Spider-Man, but more importantly, the Avengers ' attention was currently focused on the Spider-Man, leaving them completely oblivious to the possibility of Naxhi appearing in the shadows, though he hadn't actually materialized.
"Don't worry, Lorna, just hold on a little longer. The Saiyan should have received the news by now, and my Mech Legion should be here even faster. Although our research on Susan's abilities isn't progressing very quickly, we've still made some significant progress. At least protecting us shouldn't be a big problem..." Faced with this situation, Tony Stark quickly calmed the morale of his troops and comforted the Avengers.
Lorna's abilities do have limits. After all, even superhumans are still made of flesh and blood. It's definitely not feasible to let Lorna expend energy in battle all by herself.
But Mecha are different. Even though Mecha consume more energy than humans, Mecha can replenish it. As long as these Spider-Man can't fly, these Mecha can even return to the base to replace their Arc Reactor Arc Reactor recharge their old ones...
"Don't worry, I can hold out for a while!" Lorna nodded confidently upon hearing Tony Stark's words. "You can attack freely. I'll protect our location with my aura, preventing these toxins from harming you..."
"Boom!"
No sooner had Lorna finished speaking than an explosion rang out. It turned out that Johnny Storm had made his move at that moment. He had been sensing something eyeing him from the side, but when he looked over, he couldn't see anything. To prevent any trouble from happening, Johnny Storm had been holding back.
But after hearing Lorna's words, Johnny Storm couldn't bear it any longer. He immediately threw out a ball of explosive flame, which, while illuminating the surrounding darkness, also hit several Spider-Man that were eyeing the area covetously.
"Make your move!" Seeing Johnny Storm act decisively, Tony Stark quickly gave the order, and at the same time, several beams of light were released from the Mecha, illuminating parts of the surrounding area.
There were very few people present who could illuminate the darkness; only Johnny Storm's flames and Tony Stark's Mecha could do so. Even some of Steve and Bucky Barnes ' equipment did not have this function.
If Peter Parker were still in his normal state, he could unleash the power of lightning to add another source of light. Or if Kara were here, it wouldn't be so troublesome; Kara herself could see the location of all the Spider-Man and alert the Avengers to take action. Unfortunately, Kara isn't here, and Peter Parker shows no signs of waking up.
"Jarvis, write this down. After this incident is over, have a batch of specially made night vision goggles made. At least we won't be in such a passive position right now..." Tony Stark instructed Jarvis after illuminating part of the area.
In the previous incident involving the Shadow-Devouring Soldiers, Tony Stark did not build night vision goggles because the Shadow-Devouring Soldiers were not normal life forms, and night vision Shadow-Devouring Soldiers could not clearly see their location.
But these Spider are different. Although Spider don't appear to be native to Earth, they are still living organisms, and with detection equipment, they can definitely be seen...
"Puff!"
"Laugh!"
"Boom!"
"Smack!"
In the darkness, as the Avengers made their move, many Spider died at Avengers hands. Although these Spider far surpassed ordinary Spider on Earth, they were still far from reaching the level of Giant Spider, so the Avengers did not find them too difficult to deal with.
Of course, only Avengers with ranged abilities can intervene. Those like Barry Allen, who were already injured and lacked ranged combat skills, naturally couldn't intervene.
This relegated Barry Allen to the role of a spectator, only able to keep a brief eye on the unconscious Peter Parker and Harry Osborn. But there was no other way; after all, these Spider were venomous. Barry Allen's insistence on fighting them despite his own Spider might have been effective, but if he were poisoned, the consequences would outweigh the gains...
"Heh, kill! Keep killing! You'll be in for a surprise soon! Did you really think my children were just going to their deaths?" However, facing the Avengers ' slaughter, Naxhi, hidden in the shadows, remained calm and even had a smile on his lips, watching the Avengers kill the Spider-Man without making any attempt to stop them.
The Avengers didn't realize that the Spider-Man they were dealing with weren't all of the ones that had just appeared. After all, these Spider-Man were extremely difficult to find in the darkness, even with some light source present.
Moreover, after the Avengers killed one Spider-Man after another, parts of the Spider-Man ' bodies remained intact, and some of their toxins spread into the air. Instead of colliding and dissipating with Lorna's aura, they accumulated together, as if waiting for something...
"They're here!" In the midst of the battle, Tony Stark's eyes lit up. He quickly issued the order, "Jarvis, control those Mecha to fight freely and deal with the Spider around them. At the same time, have the Mecha turn on their lights to illuminate the surrounding environment as much as possible!"
"Yes, sir." Jarvis responded quickly, and figures of Mecha appeared in mid-air, illuminating the surrounding streets and providing the Avengers with a better fighting environment.
Unfortunately, if these Mecha were living beings, they might have sensed something was wrong in mid-air, because the toxins in the air were accumulating and were about to turn into a no-go zone for life!
The Avengers were completely unaware of this situation; in fact, they were quite excited because more and more Spider-Man were dying at their hands. They felt that they could work together to resolve this crisis without needing Robet to come and oversee things.
"Is there a tracking device in the Mecha? I feel like there are fewer and fewer of these Spider-Man..." Pietro was undoubtedly the most excited about the fight. He had been extremely frustrated in his battle against the controlled Peter Parker, and now that he could finally unleash his full power, he naturally wanted to have a good fight. However, as the battle progressed, Pietro was finding fewer and fewer Spider-Man, so he asked Tony Stark.
"Jarvis?" Tony Stark looked at the mangled bodies of the Spider-Man around him and breathed a sigh of relief. He then asked Jarvis.
"Sir, there are still Spider-Man -like life forms around, but not too many... Wait! Sir, we've detected a large number of life forms! Over a thousand people are heading this way, and their life fluctuations are somewhat unusual, seemingly similar to Mr. Spider-Man- Man's!" Jarvis, deploying a large number of Mecha to investigate the surrounding situation, initially relieved the Avengers, but the subsequent information Jarvis provided quickly changed Avengers expressions!
"Thousands of people? Thousands of Peter Parker?!" Even the initially excited Pietro exclaimed in surprise, even calling out Peter Parker's name, showing that Pietro was indeed somewhat unsettled at this moment.
And it wasn't just Pietro; the other Avengers around him also changed their expressions. They had thought they had dealt with these Spider-Man, but now it seemed that the Spider-Man were even more dangerous than they had imagined!
This incident, like the previous Shadow-Devouring Soldiers incident, will likely affect a large number of people. However, there are differences between the two. In the Shadow-Devouring Soldiers incident, ordinary people whose shadows were devoured would fall into a coma. In this incident, it seems that Spider-Man can create puppets on the spot and even grant these people extraordinary powers!
Compared to Peter Parker at this point, the original Peter Parker might not have been that strong, but that was still in comparison to the current Peter Parker. Among ordinary people, Peter Parker would be an invincible existence, and thousands of Peter Parker would be a problem that the Avengers would not be able to solve!
Especially considering that these troublemakers were originally ordinary people, can the Avengers really be so ruthless as to attack them, injure them, render them unable to fight, or even kill them?
Clearly, the Avengers will find it difficult to make such a choice. It's foreseeable that once the controlled Spider-Man Army arrives, the Avengers ' fighting will be hampered, just as it was when Pietro fought Peter Parker...
"How could it be so easy to create an army of Spider-Man -like figures?" Pietro scratched his head, muttering to himself in frustration. "When Iron Man came before, didn't he say that guy could only produce some defective products at most?"
"Then the guy behind this is probably far more capable than Richard Parker!" Tony Stark slowly shook his head, looked around, and said in a deep voice, "But where exactly is this guy hiding? Did he even come to Earth? And Richard is also missing. Is he dead or is he in hiding?"
At this moment, Tony Stark wanted to find Richard Parker or Naxhi's location so that he could find a weakness, or at least know the solution as soon as Robet arrived.
However, both Naxhi and Richard Parker have vanished without a trace. It seems the mastermind has decided that only after the Avengers have eliminated all the surrounding Spider-Man, including the mutated Spider-Man, will he truly reveal himself...
"Heh heh, you couldn't hold back after that? It just goes to show that the Avengers are still the same Avengers, or rather, these so-called superheroes are just too easy to manipulate!" Naxhi, who was hiding in the shadows, saw this scene and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly. This wasn't the first time he had done something like this, nor was it the first time he had dealt with so-called superheroes.
After all, in a universe with Spider-Man, there are other superheroes to varying degrees. But no matter how many superheroes there are, Naxhi can easily control them because Naxhi has the ability to mass-produce Spider-Man!
In a sense, these created Spider-Man are no different from the zombie army. They have no consciousness of their own and can infect healthy individuals one after another with the Spider Factor they carry, turning them into part of the Spider-Man as well!
Naxhi was once just a minor character struggling to survive Inter-dimensional Space, but after creating this ability and succeeding, Naxhi has been evolving towards becoming Dimensional Demon God. Once he has devoured one Spider-Verse after another, he will be able to truly evolve into Spider Demon God who completely transcends individual universes, and then radiate his will throughout the entire Multiverse!
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
"Click!"
"Click!"
Just as Naxhi was secretly hoping for things to progress, and just as the Avengers were somewhat at a loss about the approaching Spider-Man Army, one Spider-Man after another rushed towards the Avengers, flying, leaping, running, or crawling.
Every pair of eyes in the Spider-Man Army was bloodshot, staring intently at the Avengers as if Avengers were their prey. And when the Avengers met these Spider-Man's gazes, all of them felt uneasy...
"Why does this feel like a zombie apocalypse?" Johnny Storm couldn't help but shrink back, sensing the heavy atmosphere around him, and muttered to himself.
"If they were normal zombies, we wouldn't want to be so conflicted, but they're just ordinary people! Morbius, aren't you Vampire? Can you bite them, give them the Embrace, and make them obey you and stay put?" Pietro looked at Morbius and asked with some anticipation.
"What era are we living in? Still talking about traditional Vampire? Give me a bunch of equipment, and I can try to transform them into Vampire. As for the 'bite' thing, don't even mention it!" Morbius rolled his eyes and said irritably.
"Tch! You're so useless. Richard Parker has gone from being a Scientific Side modified experiment to a special infection on the supernatural side, and you're still looking down on traditional Vampire..." Pietro muttered, turning to Tony Stark and asking, "What do we do now? Give me a straight answer: knock them out, or do you mean no mercy?"
"Let's give way for a bit!" Tony Stark slowly shook his head, his expression somewhat grave. "Jarvis, get everyone into their Mecha. We'll take off first, then wait for the person behind it all to appear! Peter Parker can't fly, so these Spider-Man Army can't probably fly either..."
Soon, with Jarvis's help, the Avengers entered their Mecha one by one. One Mecha after another took to the air, where pairs of watchful eyes peered down. Naxhi, hidden in the shadows, made no attempt to stop the Avengers from taking flight; instead, he watched them with a smile...
