Arc 5New Konoha Rises

Arc 6The Fall of Old Konoha

Hyuga Hiashi led his clan out of Old Konoha and into New Konoha, while Uchiha Jin prepared to absorb the collapsing village. As refugees fled and the two sides fought, Sarutobi Hiruzen turned to Orochimaru for reanimated fighters, but their power and the future of Old Konoha remained uncertain.

Arc 7The Fall of Old Konoha

Uchiha Jin led New Konoha to defeat Old Konoha’s reanimated fighters and force its leaders into surrender, then put Sarutobi Hiruzen’s rule on public trial. The trial exposed deep fractures among the former leaders but ended this stretch with Minato’s death still unexplained.

  • Uchiha Jin prepared New Konoha for Orochimaru’s Impure World Reincarnation attack, while Kakashi took Naruto into his care and New Konoha demanded Old Konoha’s surrender.
  • Orochimaru summoned reanimated Hashirama, Tobirama, Sakumo, Mito, and Kushina, but Jin’s forces sealed them as Tsunade healed the wounded.

Arc 8Obito’s Arrival

Uchiha Jin consolidated New Konoha’s control and exposed the political plans behind the old order while Akatsuki adjusted to his rise. Obito confronted Jin, who summoned Nohara Rin and drew Obito out, then sought a way to capture him alive.

  • Danzo accused Sarutobi Hiruzen of arranging Minato’s death, but Uchiha Jin argued that Sarutobi had benefited most and helped convince the gathered shinobi that he was responsible.
  • Nara Shikaichi announced labor-reform sentences for Sarutobi Hiruzen and the other condemned leaders, and Kakashi killed them before Orochimaru revived them with Impure World Reincarnation.
