An Unspoken Request

He left Nick LeMay's office.

It was getting late.

Ian strolled down a long, empty corridor, his feet on marble floors polished smooth as mirrors by time. On either side of the corridor, magically lit candlesticks flickered and danced, casting a warm, dim glow that mingled with the cool moonlight streaming through the windows, creating a series of picturesque scenes of light and shadow.

As the temperature grew colder, the young Wizard, returning to reality from their holidays and finishing a long day of studying, almost all huddled together in front of the fireplace in the Common Room to keep warm.

Even the number of young Wizard who used to go out at night has decreased significantly. Although there are now various heating products on campus, those gadgets can't really keep the whole body warm.

"Those sands really are the Time Sand." Ian rubbed his hands together, exhaling a large cloud of white mist that cast a blurry reflection on the window in the corridor. A thin layer of frost had quietly condensed on the window frame, resembling delicate ice flowers that obscured the view outside.

The moonlight, filtering through the frost, became softer and more mysterious. The frost not only added to the tranquility and chill of the night but also made the corridor seem even more enigmatic.

" Professor LeMay Nick Flamel might be right. A civilization that can manipulate and utilize time will never leave no trace in the long river of history." Ian stood in front of the window, where the temperature was much lower than inside, still processing the information he had received from Nick LeMay.

Although Nick LeMay's revelation of the Black-Robed Skeleton and his contract wouldn't harm him personally, he was still eager to find clues about the Black-Robed Skeleton and the civilization that had fallen into the Misty Illusion —perhaps out of curiosity, but also out of consideration for his own interests.

If they can't figure out why that civilization perished, it will pose a significant threat to Ian, especially since the Black-Robed Skeleton is now firmly attached to him.

Heaven knows if the being that wiped out this civilization will even notice the Black-Robed Skeleton has reappeared in the human world. A catastrophe that can plunge an entire civilization into a realm of the dead is definitely not just Calamity.

Ian couldn't tell Nick LeMay the information, and because of Nick, LeMay obviously wouldn't know why the civilization associated with the Black-Robed Skeleton was destroyed.

"Playing with time, and thus suffering the consequences of time's actions?" Perhaps that's what Nick LeMay thought, but Ian thought differently; after all, he witnessed the fall of an entire civilization within the Misty Illusion.

It wasn't just a physical destruction; the entire civilization was "sent" into Misty Illusion. The "punishment" involved was definitely more than just a backlash from the rules of time.

There is definitely some kind of intention behind this—if this conjecture is correct, Ian's act of "taking in" the Black-Robed Skeleton certainly carries a considerable degree of hidden danger.

"Sigh, I always seem to get caught up in all sorts of messes. Isn't this just another form of misfortune?" Ian drew a series of question marks on the window with his finger.

He glanced at the clock hanging in the corridor and realized it was almost time for his Small Class, so he composed himself and turned to walk towards the stairwell.

Nick LeMay's office was in the Castle's main hall, and to get back to Ravenclaw's Common Room, one had to climb stairs, and as Ian reached the top of the stairs, the spiral staircase was constantly changing shape.

no way.

Ian could only stand at the bottom of the stairs and wait.

He took the opportunity to look around the Castle where he lived: a small hall surrounded by exquisitely carved stone pillars, with soft, magical light shining down from the crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Before the lights were turned off, Hogwarts at night had a unique charm. The air was filled with a faint scent of lavender and Potions, which meant Snape was brewing some random potions in the basement again.

"Phew~"

Ian exhaled another puff of white mist, tucking his slightly frozen hands into his robes. He began to consider whether he should risk his alchemical reputation to research the "second-generation hand warmer." His first-generation product, a heated underwear, had been a complete failure; perhaps he should design a more normal, magical version of a hand warmer.

"If we could figure out a way to seal the fire with the [ Soul Furnace ] property in a container for power, perhaps my second-generation hand warmer could help my classmates defend against enemies."

"Throwing it out will blow up the enemy, and I can also replenish my Magic Power. It's a win-win-win situation: the students win once, I win twice, and both Galleons and increased strength can be effectively achieved."

Ian felt like he'd suddenly had a stroke of genius, his mind brimming with such brilliant ideas. He couldn't wait to head into the Room of Requirement after class to work on some product design.

If Nick LeMay can handle the magical metal Uru, it's not just ordinary flames that can be sealed inside; storing even a small Fiendfyre wouldn't be impossible.

"It will surely become a groundbreaking product comparable to nuclear-powered hand warmers and nuclear-powered electric vehicles!" Ian's mind raced, his gaze fixed on the ever-changing staircase ahead.

These staircases don't rotate very fast, so you usually have to wait anywhere from five to ten or twenty minutes when they change position. They draw elegant arcs in the space, with each turn connecting perfectly.

It fits even more perfectly than Lego.

The only drawback is that the rotation time is not fixed and depends entirely on how the administrator sets it. Presumably, this was designed with the intention of interfering with intruders in mind.

It is not only a transportation hub within the Castle, but also a perfect fusion of magic and art, and the culprit behind many young Wizard being late for school.

Many young Wizard, upon first entering the Castle, assume they've memorized the rotation times of the stairs; however, they may encounter a different rotation method during their lessons.

Going to the wrong floor, waiting for too long... these are common problems for young Wizard who like to attend classes right on time. No one can say for sure if this is Professor McGonagall subtly teaching Wizard the importance of punctuality and advance preparation.

"If I were the headmaster, I would do the same, then peek through the crack in the door and watch the little Wizard struggle, secretly enjoying myself." As Ian waited, his hands moved in the pockets of his robes. He hadn't just cast the Undetectable Extension Charm on his Money Bag; all the pockets of his robes had recently been marked with the Undetectable Extension Charm as well.

certainly.

Since expanding the space became increasingly difficult, Ian didn't manage to expand the pockets of his robe by much; his robe could barely fit a few huskies.

Where are my fever-inducing snacks?

Ian rummaged in his pockets but didn't find the spicy snacks the House-elf had specially made for him. Instead, he found a small piece of paper.

Not again?

He never carried notes with him, and even his toilet paper was made from small stones—a typical eco-friendly little Wizard. He immediately felt a sense of déjà vu. He quickly pulled out the note that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere from his pocket; thankfully, this time it wasn't a mysterious "letter."

[To prevent you from secretly asking me questions or even Veritaserum into my teacup, I need to warn you in advance: as a law-abiding Alchemy and now the Alchemy Professor at Hogwarts, no matter what tricks you try, I will absolutely not tell you that King Arthur's tomb is located in the XXXX region.]

Even without reading the text.

Ian could tell from the handwriting alone who had secretly slipped the paper into his pocket; the handwriting of the Master Alchemist Nick LeMay was truly distinctive.

"Godfather, obey the law..." Ian thought of Nick LeMay's Money Printer. If he dared to build something like that, who knows what other shocking things Nick LeMay had built behind the scenes.

Moreover, the note, written with an air of righteous indignation, claimed it wouldn't reveal the location of King Arthur's tomb to Ian, yet the final address was incredibly detailed, even listing nearby beacons. Most absurdly, Nick LeMay, as if afraid Ian wouldn't be able to find it, even provided the tomb's precise latitude and longitude coordinates on Earth.

"This 600-year-old professor seems to be quite the entertainer..." Ian glanced at the note in his hand, then thought of the tomb-raiding tools that he had confiscated, Nick LeMay had never even considered getting back.

He could easily guess what Nick LeMay was hoping to see—to be honest, Ian would definitely be tempted if Nick LeMay provided the location of someone else's grave.

However.

Unfortunately, the tomb that Nick LeMay suggested was that of the Legend monarch. This made things a bit tricky for Ian, since he was deeply involved with the relevant figures in many ways.

certainly.

It's not that Ian wasn't tempted at all.

After all, as a Wizard with lofty ambitions, determined to pass on the grave-digging business to future generations and establish one of the Old Nine Gates Wizarding World, Ian was also quite curious about the tombs of those Legend figures.

Ian certainly hasn't dug Merlin's tomb, but King Arthur King Arthur's remains are definitely in his tomb. Casting a [ Inferi Control Charm ] on him would be incredibly satisfying.

The only problem to worry about is that digging up this kind of grave will definitely involve a lot of dangers, and the consequences will be severe, plus there's the risk of being beaten up by Morgan.

No matter how deep the grudge.

That was, after all, the grave of his teacher's younger brother. This was the tricky problem Ian found difficult, but for a clever little Wizard like him, there was a perfect solution.

"I'm going to recruit my good friend Pandora. He certainly won't refuse such a unique adventure. He'll have fun, and I'll have safety and treasure."

"I only need one Philosopher's Stone that still retains a lot of Magic Power to help me pay the price of summoning him as my Guardian Spirit... One isn't enough, I have many, many more."

Ian's unconventional idea made him feel he could win twice more. Just as he had devised his earth-shattering plan, the spiral staircase gradually came to a stop.

The young Wizard, brimming with mischievous ideas, was just about to step onto it.

"Wait a minute, wait a minute, students in front." Suddenly, an old voice rang out behind Ian, sounding broken and labored, as if he was still panting heavily.

"Hello, sir, madam..." Ian turned around and saw an elderly man with a full head of white hair. The man was wearing a trench coat that went past his knees and had a refined and approachable demeanor.

His still-thick hair even had bangs that covered half of his eyes, making him look quite fashionable. For some reason, it reminded Ian of an old man character from the anime/manga series " Dragon Raja ".

He's handsome, has a lot of hair, and a good temperament, so it's no wonder that he's accompanied by two elderly women whose features, though full of wrinkles, still reveal that they must have been very beautiful when they were young.

certainly.

This wasn't what Ian envied most. His gaze remained fixed on the top of the old man's head. Despite his advanced age, he hadn't lost his hair, and he was curious to know if the old man usually used Potter Family's shampoo.

"You're the only little Wizard around here. I suppose you're looking for your lost pet?" The old man unbuttoned his overcoat, revealing the little creature inside.

The Bowtruckle, who had previously escaped from Nick LeMay's office, was now fast asleep, nestled close to the old man's chest, its two hands gently clasped against his chest in a rather intimate manner.

"No, what I lost was a golden Bowtruckle, Mr. Scamander." Ian had thought it looked familiar before, but now he was completely certain of its identity.

Yes.

Newt Scamander. Most young Wizard will be familiar with this old man, as his portrait is printed on the first page of the book " Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ".

He is the author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and was also a student at Hogwarts Hufflepuff House, but "graduated" early for some well-known reasons.

In Albus Headmaster Dumbledore's memories, Ian saw Newt Scamander in his prime, but now Newt Scamander is an old man with white hair.

He even looks older than Headmaster Dumbledore Albus. It's hard to imagine that this is the protagonist of the previous era from Ian's perspective.

Yes, based on what Ian knows about Newt Scamander, Newt Scamander definitely fits the protagonist mold, and is more like a protagonist of an era than Harry Potter.

Those who know, know. Many people who didn't graduate from Hogwarts normally became big shots, even Hagrid was a formidable figure. Who can say that a Half-Giant can withstand a lot of magic isn't strong enough?

Newt Scamander is also one of the abnormal graduates. Even ignoring his achievements in Fantastic Beasts, his life can definitely be described as magnificent. He is someone who went against Grindelwald and is still alive today. He has the luck of a protagonist even though his magical skills are not particularly strong.

If they didn't make Harry Potter story, but instead made Newt Scamander story, Ian think they could easily make at least five movies, and the plot would definitely be much more exciting than the young Wizard fighting Voldemort.

"Ah?"

The little Wizard's somewhat nonsensical response clearly stunned Newt Scamander, who seemed to have remained the same taciturn person even after a lifetime.

"Actually, if there were Bowtruckle made of silver, the Bowtruckle I lost could also be a silver Bowtruckle. Everyone in Hogwarts knows I'm a very easy person to talk to."

Ian glanced again at the little guy in Newt Scamander. The Bowtruckle he hadn't managed to tame after all these days didn't seem to be all rebellious.

At least it's close to Newt Scamander.

Newt Scamander might actually have been a druid by his ancestors.

"..."

Newt Scamander was speechless after Ian's antics, while the old lady next to him, who was carrying the [real nuclear weapon]-level suitcase for him, couldn't stop smiling.

"Hahaha, you little rascal, you're hilarious!" This old lady was probably Newt Scamander's wife; I heard she used to be Auror in the Ministry of Magic of some country.

Later, he was led astray by Newt Scamander.

"I'm very serious, madam." Ian couldn't quite remember Newt Scamander's wife's name; after all, she was only mentioned briefly in " Modern Magical History." William helped him with his homework, so he certainly couldn't be expected to be as eloquent as Hermione.

"You can call me Miss Tina." This old lady was clearly young at heart, and she introduced the somewhat sorrowful old lady next to her.

"This is my sister, Queenie Kowalski, you should also call her Miss Queenie. She's been feeling a bit down lately, so I took her out to cheer her up."

"Don't blame me for not warning you, she's a very capable person." The old lady, Tina, spoke to Ian on behalf of her husband, and she clearly seemed much more Newt Scamander.

"It is indeed sad to lose a family member, but please accept my condolences. Everyone will eventually reach the end of their life, and the next journey is not as frightening as most people think." Ian glanced at the sorrowful old lady Queenie and tried to soften his voice.

Upon hearing this, old lady Queenie finally looked at the young Wizard.

"For an elderly person who has been bedridden for many years, death is also a kind of relief, right?" She clearly wanted to gain some external approval for psychological comfort.

"Death is a new beginning, more beautiful than most people think. You will always be reunited, after you have died peacefully as your loved one would have hoped."

"I can roughly guarantee that." Ian provided the emotional support the other person wanted, but he also took precautions against the possibility that the other person might attempt suicide.

There absolutely cannot be any hanging at Hogwarts tomorrow morning.

"Smack!"

At this moment Newt Scamander suddenly clapped his hands. "I think you must be Mr. Ian Prince Albus mentioned you more than once in his emails to me, praising you highly. Now I know why; you sound just like him."

Seeing that Ian did not refute it.

Newt Scamander was pleased with his accurate judgment.

"She's young, but she has a lot of wisdom. And for me, her words are indeed very meaningful." The sorrow on Old Lady Queenie's face softened slightly.

After saying that.

She then looked at Newt Scamander, her tone tinged with reproach, "See? This is how you comfort someone, not by telling me from a biological perspective that my husband won't feel cold in his grave, and then accusing me of putting treasures in his grave that will only hasten his decay."

It's obvious.

Newt Scamander's emotional intelligence certainly hasn't improved much over the years. To be honest, being able to find a wife is definitely the biggest miracle that has happened to Newt Scamander.

"A treasure? Don't just put a treasure in a grave. Like oil, it can easily breed things that shouldn't be there." Ian looked up at the three old men in front of him.

"See, I'm not the only one who says that." Newt Scamander, seemed to have found a lifeline and immediately echoed Ian's words.

He, his wife, and his sister-in-law clearly didn't understand what Ian was saying.

"Ha!"

The old lady Queenie, looked indignant.

"Alright, alright, you know Newt's personality, he didn't mean to upset you." Another elderly lady, Tina, stepped in to mediate. This small group, whose members were almost two hundred years old combined, actually had their moments of bickering; it was really quite amusing.

"Clang~ Clang~"

Ian took out some sunflower seeds.

You're actually watching the show!

Old lady Queenie glared at the young Wizard.

Do you want some too?

The young Wizard shared his melon seeds with the three old men.

"..."

The old lady Queenie, was speechless. Her personality was quite different from when she was younger, and it was hard to tell whether it was because she was widowed or because her personality had changed drastically after menopause.

"I want."

Tina happily accepted the sunflower seeds from Ian's hand.

Who are you looking for?

Ian took the opportunity to inquire why the three had come to Hogwarts, knowing that Newt Scamander usually lived very far from the Hogwarts.

It's not a holiday for visiting relatives and friends, so it's not exactly a time for such visits.

"Looking for Mr. Flamel. Nick Flamel? Do you know where his office is?" the old lady Tina answered, and then asked the young Wizard where Nick LeMay was.

"There."

Ian pointed in the direction of Nick LeMay's office.

Upon hearing this, the elderly woman, Tina, immediately thanked him and looked at her husband beside her.

"Let me rest a bit more. The journey from Dorset to here has exhausted me." Newt Scamander leaned against a nearby stone pillar, clearly looking somewhat weak.

It's no wonder that many action comics never depict the protagonist after marriage and children; just look at Newt Scamander's current state to understand this perfectly.

"What's wearing you out isn't the fatigue of the journey, but that suitcase you can't bear to put down." Queenie glanced helplessly at the suitcase her sister was carrying.

She wasn't referring to the weight of the box, but rather the antics of the Fantastic Beasts inside.

"They're just small fry. I don't have the energy I had when I was younger, and I'm much more cautious now. My suitcase hasn't caused any... big trouble in recent years."

Newt Scamander responded quickly, immediately defending his suitcase. He even glanced at Ian, as if trying to salvage his image in front of the younger man.

"For example, Brontosaurus? A Fire Dragon?"

Ian also looked curiously at Newt's suitcase—this suitcase had always been a legend, said to have possessed the special power to exchange one life for Legend in its heyday.

"They're all still young, still young..." Newt Scamander answered somewhat evasively, which fully demonstrated that he was truly not a good liar.

However.

His wife, Tina, however, came out and undermined him.

"That Augurey you rescued on the road wasn't small; you could have easily handed it over to the Ministry of Magic's aid workers." Tina shook the suitcase she was carrying for her husband.

"I don't trust the Ministry of Magic here; they just framed Albus... That Augurey is very obedient; it's already shrunk to a very, very small size."

Newt Scamander seems to have redefined what it means to be a little guy.

I also really enjoy keeping small animals as pets.

Ian's eyes lit up at the mention of the Augurey, and he began trying to get close to Newt Scamander. His current bottleneck in mastering the Undetectable Extension Charm was the lack of Augurey skin. Of course, Ian wasn't the type to kill Augurey for a mere pelt; he possessed a special Potions that could accelerate the healing process of living beings.

"I can tell you were Bowtruckle back in school. You must be just as obsessed with Fantastic Beasts as I am," Newt Scamander said, as if he'd found common ground.

He gently pulled the Bowtruckle, which was perched in his arms, off and handed it back to Ian.

"If a Wizard offers a burr to Bowtruckle, it will be soothed for a long time, allowing him or her to take wood from the tree to make a wand."

"They like crickets. And it's best to let these little guys have their own territory," Newt Scamander said, not forgetting to teach Ian a little something.

Upon hearing this...

Ian nodded immediately.

"That's right, exactly. I've actually been trying to build my [ Ian's Suitcase ], but I'm currently encountering some bottlenecks in using the Undetectable Extension Charm."

Before the Bowtruckle woke up, Ian quickly stuffed Money Bag Bowtruckle pleaded with Newt Scamander with a hopeful look.

"I would be extremely grateful if you could guide me through the construction of the suitcase." Ian wanted to offer his money, but felt that doing so might offend the old man in front of him.

He was ultimately a bit too mercenary; his eyes weren't as clear and pure as the other person's. Well, there was still a tiny bit of clarity and purity in them, and all the young Wizard in the school knew that.

" Nick LeMay contacted me because he wanted my help in collecting materials for the Undetectable Extension Charm." Newt Scamander said, pulling out a small cloth bag.

"I collected a little extra; I hope it will be helpful to you." Newt Scamander's generosity surprised the young Wizard, and he immediately stuffed the small bag into Ian's hands.

"Reciprocity is key."

Ian quickly rummaged through his Money Bag but couldn't find anything related to Fantastic Beasts, so he could only pull out a handful of black sand.

The little Wizard's hands still couldn't hold on very well, and a lot of sand slipped through his fingers.

"Thanks."

Newt Scamander quickly accepted the black sand that Ian offered with both hands.

"What's this?"

Tina leaned closer, somewhat curious.

"It's a precious gift from the little Wizard." Newt Scamander quickly gave Tina a look, as if afraid that his wife's carefree personality might hurt the little Wizard's pride.

"Thanks."

Tina rolled her eyes at her husband. She felt that her husband sometimes really misunderstood her. Was she the kind of person who, after living a whole life, still lacked emotional intelligence?

"I think we should put it away and make it into a little Crystal Ball. Black snow would look really nice; I've seen it in Muggle shops."

Tina demonstrated to the young Wizard how much she valued the handful of sand. She pulled out an empty cloth bag, filled it with the black sand, and then tried to take out her wand to collect the sand that had fallen to the ground.

However.

"Um?"

Tina waved her wand.

But he discovered that he couldn't control the sand.

What happened?

Newt Scamander also sensed something was wrong. He shakily took out his wand and waved it vigorously, but it turned out that the force had no effect on the magic.

"This sand... just like you, little one... isn't quite right."

Queenie was the only one who didn't reach for her wand, but instead frowned in confusion. She was a natural Legilimency, far superior to ordinary Wizard in both perception and Mental Power.

"They are the sands of Time Sand Time Sand."

Ian looked at the three old men, puzzled by the simplest of spells, with some surprise. It was the first time he had ever heard that the sand was unaffected by the Wizard ' magic.

The problem is, he succeeded when he used the Transfiguration Spell before.

Could it be related to Magic Power Level?

"What did you say!?"

"You... what did you say this is?"

"Hiss~~~"

Just as Ian was puzzled, the three old men widened their eyes almost simultaneously, all looking astonished and uncertain as if they had misheard.

"I said, they are the Time Sand."

Ian doesn't care about being discreet when giving gifts; he simply raised his voice and shouted—the next moment, Newt Scamander had an utterly incredulous expression on his face.

He was as arrogant as he was.

My mind was buzzing with shock.

"Oh My God!"

Tina was also utterly shocked and covered her mouth—her sister Queenie was the fastest, immediately getting down on the ground and starting to pick up every single grain of sand.

"How could you have such a thing..." Newt Scamander had to re-examine the young Wizard before him, suspecting Albus Dumbledore had already robbed the Department of Mysteries.

"I dug them out myself. At first, I didn't know what these sands were Nick. Professor LeMay told me the answer, and that's how I learned they were the Time Sand."

"You see, I just went to consult Professor LeMay Nick Flamel, which is why you ran into me here." Ian's answer was indeed very honest.

"!!!"

Newt Scamander's expression remained one of astonishment.

With Nick LeMay's endorsement, he naturally had no more doubts... But where else could he find so much Time Sand if not from the Department of Mysteries?

Forbidden Forest?

It does indeed hide many secrets.

But isn't this secret a little too big?

"Child, this material is extremely precious. You shouldn't have given it to anyone... It's best not to tell anyone, because the Ministry of Magic will definitely be watching you because of it." Newt Scamander took the bag from his wife's hand, gave her a serious warning, and was about to hand the bag containing the Time Sand back to Ian.

He seemed to have a very negative impression of the Ministry of Magic.

"Yes, child, you may not understand the meaning of the Time Sand yet, but believe us, it will bring you danger." Tina nodded in agreement.

The two of them clearly had no idea about Ian's abilities.

" Newt! We need... I need this..." Queenie picked up the black sand from the ground and stood up, watching as Newt Scamander was about to return the Time Sand to Ian.

She immediately became anxious.

"I have money, child, I can give you all the money, I need it..." Queenie looked very nervous as she spoke, pulling out a key from her pocket.

The elderly man, who was probably over eighty years old, looked at Ian with pleading eyes.

"Forehead."

Ian glanced at the Gringotts key in Queenie's hand but didn't take it. He then reached into his Money Bag and pulled out two handfuls of black sand.

"Yes, yes, everyone who knows me knows I'm a person who embodies helpfulness from head to toe." Ian roughly guessed what the other party wanted to do with the Time Sand.

As he spoke.

Under the bewildered gazes of the three, he placed the two Black Sands into Queenie's and Tina's hands respectively, fully demonstrating what it means to treat everyone equally without any favoritism.

"!!!!!"

"?????"

"!?!?!"

The three people had different expressions.

Most of the time, it's a kind of bewildered feeling that your brain isn't quite up to the task.

What kind of nonsense is this, acting like they're wholesaling the Time Sand?

How much did you dig up?

Newt Scamander spoke with great difficulty.

"Enough?"

Ian couldn't estimate how many tons he had dug, so he chose a classic way of answering, which immediately brought the atmosphere back to a quiet silence.

The expressions on the three old men's faces were somewhat subtle.

"To be honest, Miss Queenie, I don't think trying to go back in time is a responsible act, and it could very well cost you dearly."

In an attempt to break the deadlock, Ian took the initiative to earnestly remind Queenie.

"I've been Wizard for over eighty years, of course I know this. I just want to go and see occasionally... just to see." The sorrowful look returned to Queenie's face.

The person's overall demeanor suggested that they were quite troubled inside.

"It's not a big deal that you had an argument with your husband before he passed away, and he certainly wouldn't blame you for it," Ian said gently.

"You could even guess something like that?"

After regaining her senses, Tina first glanced at the black sand in her hand, and then, upon hearing Ian's words, immediately looked up at the little Wizard with some disbelief.

"He's a natural Legilimens... just like me... no... even more powerful than me." Queenie gave the young Wizard in front of her a deep look.

Her words startled both Newt Scamander and Tina.

"Excuse me..."

Ian scratched his head.

His extraordinary [ Mind Perception ] Extraordinary Trait was already exceptional, and now that he has cultivated many mental magic techniques, the passive effects he naturally exhibits are somewhat overpowered.

Newt Scamander and Tina's Occlumency wasn't very successful.

Queenie's heart is now full of flaws. Ian didn't want to see it either, but the information was right in front of him, and he was forced to witness the emotions Queenie was revealing.

"I understand."

Queenie had spent her entire life passively using Legilimency, so she naturally empathized with Ian's situation. She gratefully held the black sand Ian had given her and made a promise to Ian.

Don't worry, I won't do anything foolish.

All I can say is...

This is probably the kind of thing many people say before doing something foolish.

"Actually, I know a kind of psychic magic." Ian blinked, looking at the key in Queenie's hand. He bet there were tons of Galleons inside.

"Ah?"

Queenie was a little confused.

It wasn't just her.

Newt Scamander and Tina also looked completely bewildered.

Unheard-of magic.

This left all three of them completely bewildered.

" Dark Magic?"

Tina asked with some suspicion.

"Of course not! I am a true white Wizard! Headmaster Dumbledore can vouch for me!"

Ian quickly retorted.

"What kind of magic is that? I've never heard of it before."

Tina still looked somewhat confused.

"Don't ask me, I don't really understand this mess of magic." Newt Scamander shrugged; he only ever learned practical magic that was useful to him.

"Let me ask Headmaster Dumbledore Headmaster Dumbledore this, and then I'll have him talk to you about it." Ian wasn't sure if he should show his unusual nature in front of strangers.

His compassion wasn't solely due to Galleons; Queenie's consistently infectious emotions had even stirred a sense of sympathy in him for the old woman before him.

"Can."

Queenie answered first.

His eyes flickered slightly.

"Let's talk about your [ Ian's Suitcase ] instead. I feel like that's the only part I can help you with. I can make you the suitcase you want directly."

"After all, this return gift you gave me... it feels like it's burning my hands." Newt Scamander changed the subject at the right moment, and his cloudy eyes lit up again when he mentioned the suitcase for keeping animals.

"Uh-huh!"

Ian was immediately delighted to see that he didn't have to do it himself.

Newt Scamander chuckled. "First, we need to know the habits of your favorite Fantastic Beasts. This is important for setting up the environment in the suitcase."

"The key to keeping Fantastic Beasts together is to provide the most suitable habitat for each of your new companions, and to prevent territorial encroachment as much as possible."

Newt Scamander began to ask questions with great enthusiasm.

However.

His question

Ian's smile immediately froze.

"Um... well... this..."

The young Wizard genuinely didn't know how to answer that question. He had just been suspected by old lady Tina of being skilled in Dark Magic; he couldn't very well tell the truth in front of all three of them, could he?

The "little guys" he was going to put in the box were a bit sensitive: Dementor, bone dragons, skeletons, Black Phoenix... Well, Ian counting them, Ian understood.

I do seem to resemble a dark Wizard.
