Background

Gu Yue first enters the East Sea Spirit Pagoda alongside Zi Ji, presenting herself as a member of a reclusive Eastsea family. She immediately recognizes the exceptional life force in Li Jinsheng's Martial Soul and compares it to the Gold of Life from the Lake of Life. She agrees to bring him into the Spirit Ascension Platform as his offensive support. 4

Behind this identity, Gu Yue is the Silver Dragon King. Her original objectives are to reclaim the Golden Dragon King's power, seize control of the Spirit Pagoda through its Soul Spirit monopoly, and lead the soul beast race back to prominence. 4 48 421

Leng Yaozhu recognizes Gu Yue's talent after she reaches level 17 Soul Power in a year and takes her to the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters as a disciple. 16 There, Gu Yue develops her Soul Spirit research, eventually becoming able to consistently produce thousand-year-level spirits while experimenting with ten-thousand-year spirits. 122
