Background

Leng Yaozhu is the Spirit Pagoda's Vice Pagoda Master and a leading figure of the Leng Family. Concerned that the Phoenix Family lacked promising descendants and could eventually be overtaken by the Qian Gu Family, she sought talented allies outside her family. Her visit to East Sea Spirit Pagoda was specifically intended to recruit Gu Yue as her disciple. 16

Although generally gentle with her students, she is strict about dangerous behavior. She forbids Li Jinsheng from using a lethal self-created Soul Skill except in life-threatening circumstances, worries about the brutality encouraged by Han Tianyi's training, and asks Gu Yue to watch over him. 25 82
