"Warden Magellan, we have a problem! All the surveillance equipment in Infinite Hell has gone offline. Something may have happened." A guard in the monitoring room was the first to notice and immediately alerted Warden Magellan.
The sudden news sent a jolt through the guards.
They had already been on high alert, but they hadn't expected trouble to break out at such a critical moment, just as the Summit War began—and in Infinite Hell, where the most dangerous criminals were imprisoned, no less.

The door suddenly flew open, releasing a wave of foul stench. Magellan stepped out.
"Seal off all the passageways in Impel Down. Everyone, prepare for battle. Notify Lawrence and have him find out what's going on."
