"Lawrence! Bullet!"

An angry shout rang out, and another man appeared on the glacier across from the frozen giant wave where Bullet and Lawrence stood.

He had demonic horns and wore an outfit to match, along with a prison guard's uniform. Purple-red poison dripped from his body onto the ice, corroding even the frozen surface.

Lawrence hadn't expected Magellan to catch up. It seemed he'd dealt with the escaping prisoners quickly.

After all, Impel Down was close to Marine Headquarters. It took only a few dozen minutes to sail there by warship, and Magellan had left Impel Down only a dozen minutes after Lawrence.

Lawrence and the others had moved faster, traveling by aircraft. They had actually arrived ten minutes earlier, but had watched from the shadows. Bullet had needed time to recover, too.

Because of Bullet's condition, and the restrictions on his food, he could maintain at most a tenth of his peak stamina.

After all, Lawrence could only make discreet arrangements, adding some high-energy food. He couldn't overdo it.

During that time, Bullet had been replenishing his stamina by eating. His reserves were terrifyingly vast, enough to sustain a long battle and the immense recovery and expenditure of Haki.

As for Magellan, once he boarded the warship, he pushed it to its maximum speed. He even threw out some of the heavier items aboard to make it lighter.

That was how Magellan had caught up in the time difference.

Magellan's appearance surprised everyone. Few people knew him, but his arrival alone made him seem terrifying. The purple-red poison covering his body was especially dangerous.

"Magellan! Calm down. How are things at Impel Down?"

Sengoku looked at Magellan and asked.

He didn't ask why Magellan had come. It was obvious he was there to hunt down Lawrence and Bullet.
