Rediat was raised in the Tiresfa Kingdom alongside his twin brother, Meinz, and their mother, Isabella. He possessed extraordinary Observation Haki from birth and developed a reputation within the kingdom as an opponent Meinz could never defeat. While the Night Pirates explored an island near the Kraken Kingdom, Rediat killed the black panther being hunted by Gari, provoking a confrontation. He calmly endured Gari’s anger, allowed him to attempt his uncontrolled Moon Lion transformation out of curiosity, and defeated him without serious injury. Despite his arrogance, Rediat is candid about defeat. He openly tells Tiresfa Kingdom’s leaders that Teach beat him, rather than protecting his pride with excuses.
