History

After a prolonged war, the Marines withdrew most of their forces from the New World, retaining only the G1 Branch near the Red Line. Pirate crews then recuperated and prepared to fight for the territory needed to become Sea Emperors 210. Four Sea Emperors emerged amid a wider struggle to divide the region, while the Marines later began rebuilding branches there 347 350.

The Night Pirates established control over the Sargasso Sea and Saint Louis Island, using Christie Kingdom as a political and territorial base 361. In later years, the rise of the Red-Haired Pirates to Emperor status helped stabilize the New World’s overall balance, though smaller conflicts continued 651. The establishment of the Night Empire formalized a vast domain spanning dozens of subordinate kingdoms 660. Following the World Government’s destruction, the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates each occupied dozens more islands as territorial competition intensified again 686.
