Origin Power

Invasion Process

Demon Spirits

• Demon Spirits are the basic life units of the Inner Demon Realm. Their true forms exist between illusion and reality and are driven by distorted emotions such as anger, fear, and cruelty. 493
• They feed on the negative emotions of intelligent beings, are highly resilient, and can split into further entities. 491
• A low-level ghost can evolve into more advanced forms by consuming sufficient energy; its evolutionary possibilities are theoretically open-ended. 495
• The hierarchy is pyramidal: higher-ranking beings hold absolute authority over the life and death of lower Demon Spirits. 495
• Ordinary monsters and Demon Spirits are regarded as cannon fodder. Ado, who had only recently escaped this status, was already comparable to an Origin Power Realm cultivator after evolving into a Mordo. 495

• Inner Demon Cities function as military and commercial hubs. Their markets trade mounts, Demon Spirit Worms, slaves, and other demonic resources. 998
• Lower-level Demon Spirits must devour one another to advance, while high-level demons consume them as food. 1004
• The realm sustains its population and power by plundering souls from other worlds. Newly discovered worlds are therefore targets for invasion, slaughter, and soul extraction. 1004
• The Inner Demon Realm has grown by devouring other worlds, but this dependence has contributed to a broader cycle of decline: insufficient souls lead to fewer Demon Spirits, competition among high-level demons, and escalating wars. 1004

History

The Spirit Realm had previously intersected with the Inner Demon Realm at tremendous cost: nearly half of the Spirit Realm’s population died, and the cultivation world descended into bloody chaos. The remnants of that invasion became a poisonous scar that the Heavenly Court later contained as the Inner Demon Battlefield. 465 756

Earth Star later opened only an energy and spiritual channel rather than a complete dimensional gate. Even so, a torrent of pure Dream Origin Power crossed over, while Hades remained stranded on the far side. Fang Yuan intercepted nearly thirty percent of that power and sealed it within his True Dream Realm. 465 472

The Great Gan world experienced a more direct crisis when the White Bone Gate opened as a true dimensional-crossing gate. Dark-silver Dream Origin Power flooded in, followed by hundreds of millions of spiritual bodies that scattered across the world. Great Gan’s Heaven’s Will eventually severed the connection and began stripping Dream Masters of their power. 484 487

The Heavenly Court later maintained the Inner Demon Battlefield as a sealed front line, dispatching approved Immortals and Deities to kill demon heads and earn Heavenly Merit. The battlefield’s Origin Power could not be safely used by native Spirit Realm cultivators without corruption. 756

A later ritual on the Myriad Lightning Plains temporarily connected the battlefield back to the Inner Demon Realm. The Demon Lords sacrificed the Ancient God Mo Long to stabilize the passage, allowing the Devourer of All Things to attempt a descent before the Heavenly Palace intervened. 774

Relationships

• Fang Yuan — He refined Dream Origin Power originating from the realm, later entered it after reaching the Tian Ming Realm, and used its teleportation network to travel toward the Original Sin Demon Realm. 472 997 1004
• Marquis Shang — A severed spirit of an Inner Demon Realm demon king. He manipulated the Great Gan world gate to rescue his main body, though he ultimately intended to protect Great Gan rather than return to the realm. 485
• Hades — A powerful entity on the other side of Earth Star’s incomplete passage, unable to cross physically but able to project his voice and influence. 465 472
• Heavenly Court — The Spirit Realm’s principal defense against the realm’s influence; it sealed the Inner Demon Battlefield and stationed Deities along the front line. 756
