Lu Jin straightened up, spinning the two-meter-long Greatsword in one hand as he slowly approached Huron.
Huron truly hadn't expected it.
After hearing that Lu Jin had taken part in the Battle of Cadia, Huron had asked Abaddon about him.
Abaddon had said he was nothing more than a plaything of the five gods.
But Ahriman had been more practical, letting Huron experience Abaddon's ordeal for himself.
In that vision, Huron stood at the front of a Transport Aircraft's cabin.
The cabin doors stood open.
Abaddon and Ahriman stood on either side of him.
In the vision, Huron saw Lu Jin by the porthole of an escort ship----empty-handed, glaring at the Transport Aircraft with anger and hatred in his eyes.
He'd thought that was all there was to it.
Lu Jin had nearly killed Abaddon, then Abaddon had returned to the Vengeful Spirit. Simple as that.
But after the Lu Jin in the vision turned away from the porthole, leaving behind a helpless, weary figure, Huron saw a Warhammer and Battle Axe fly screaming toward the escort ship.
Then the Transport Aircraft flew along the outside of the ship, from stern to bow.
A series of explosions spread from the ship's stern to its bow.
Lu Jin leaped out through a breach and landed on the Transport Aircraft, only for Ahriman to knock him down onto Cadia with a fragment of the Blackstone Fortress.
Though Huron knew it was only a vision, he still breathed a sigh of relief.
What Huron hadn't expected was that Lu Jin's strength had grown so rapidly that the vision Ahriman had shown him was already hopelessly outdated.
