Abaddon appeared behind Perturabo.

The Daemon Primarch turned his head sideways to glance at Abaddon, but his gaze merely fell upon the wall.

"Do you think this is my lair within the Eye of Terror?" Perturabo removed the cables connecting the observation equipment behind his head. "Or have you mistaken me for an omnipotent wishing machine?"

Perturabo was merely a guest who had only just joined this war. He had no home-field advantage.

Abaddon heard the concession in Perturabo's words and stared coldly at the Primarch's back.

But the Great Ravager said nothing further, because he truly lacked the grounds to accuse Perturabo of not doing enough.

For one thing, Perturabo had saved him.

For another, the two Men of Iron sent out just now had already been extremely powerful. There were probably no stronger ones.

Thinking of this, helplessness, powerlessness, and a faint trace of fear rose within Abaddon.

If those two robots had faced a Primarch rather than Lu Jin, they likely would have won and slain the intruder.

Clearly, Lu Jin had told Guilliman about Perturabo, and Guilliman had made arrangements while commanding the void battle.

Abaddon could guess Guilliman's goal: seal him and Perturabo inside this Cruiser, no matter the cost.
