"I suddenly miss it."
Perturabo suddenly said something that left the others baffled.
Abaddon was confused for several seconds before suddenly realizing what Perturabo was missing.

Ahriman recalled what Perturabo had once been like.
He had been an exceedingly irritating Primarch, extremely demanding.
Yet Perturabo was now completely different from before. Even when offended by his own sons, he merely laughed it off.
What was the purpose of such a man joining the battle for Alert Star?
"It's all in the past." Abaddon nodded. "We're not attacking Terra now, but Alert Star. Lord of Iron, I—"
"I don't care what strategic decisions you have." Perturabo raised a hand to interrupt him and said with a smile, "I will build robots fused with Blackstone fragments. Even if I do not participate in your strategic plans, what I do will still bring you a strategic advantage."
Perturabo looked around.
Quite a few of those present were Black Legion veterans.
These warriors who had survived from the Horus Heresy ten thousand years ago to the present bore a resounding name: Long War
