Background

Gojo Yoru is a transmigrator: his six-year-old body contains the soul of an adult from another world. Early in his Academy life, he adopts an aloof, intimidating “school bully” persona to keep others away while privately preparing for the dangers he expects in the shinobi world. 1 6

His parents, Sa and Mio, were jonin. Their deaths leave him the Gojo Family inheritance: a hidden basement containing ninjutsu scrolls, Warring States-era secrets, ninja tools, pills, and gold and silver. 1 9 10

A seven-day sleepless episode triggers his first Evolution and awakens Space-Time Chakra, a hidden nature he considers superior to ordinary chakra-based limits. He gradually abandons reliance on his old game-guide diary and commits to building power in this new life. 3 4 5 20
