He raised a hand, black mist churning in his palm. The Black Forest Spirit, contained for so long, crashed to the ground and swelled madly like a lump of rotten flesh soaked in blood.

In an instant, its towering deer-headed body pressed against the hall's ceiling. Its bony Antlers gleamed blue-black, while black tentacles dangling from its neck dragged sizzling scorch marks across the floor. The air throughout the building suddenly turned cold, and a stench of rust and rotting corpses washed over them.

Its nose twitched rapidly, and a rumbling growl came from its throat as it subconsciously edged closer to the Black Forest Spirit, as though that mass of giant flesh could offer it some protection.

The two enormous creatures nearly filled the entire hall. The Wendigo's bone spikes scraped against the Black Forest Spirit's deer body with the shrill sound of nails dragging over bone. The chandeliers overhead rattled violently, and shards of glass rained
