Background / History

Zhao Huaian transmigrated into a cultivation world with the Attribute Heavenly Book, a golden internal status panel. By practicing or studying a skill, he converts effort into proficiency and can raise its realm through persistent work. At age fifteen, he already possessed Grandmaster-level medical skill and near-Grandmaster Flying Needles technique despite having no cultivation base 1.

He traveled to Greenwood Island for the Greenwood Sect’s disciple recruitment assessment. Before arriving, he obtained Frost Grass to curry favor with recruitment assessor Lei Yangwen, who suffered from fire poison; this favor later became entangled with Lin Zihao’s suspicions over the murder of Lin’s family 2 11.

Within the Greenwood Sect, Zhao cultivated the Azure Wood Art, bought pills and talisman supplies, and turned perfected Water Arrow Talismans into a profitable specialty at Greenwood Market. He avoided long-term mission teams because the Heavenly Book was a secret he could not expose 14 19.

Lin Zihao eventually attempted to kill him outside the sect. Zhao counter-killed him and took his storage bag, gaining spirit stones, talismans, pills, and a mid-grade flying-sword artifact 21 24. He later purchased a Foundation Establishment-level Crimson Fire Sword Art inheritance through the fabricated identity of a rogue cultivator friend, laying the foundation for his sword cultivation 37 41.

After reaching Foundation Establishment, Zhao relocated to Luofeng Valley near Guangyang City. He built mutually beneficial ties with the Zhou, Xu, and Zhu families through his strength and second-tier pill business, while remaining focused on obtaining resources, refining artifacts, and advancing his cultivation 114 125 176.
