Background

Lin Daozhi is the son of Lin Haiwei, the Thunderclap Gang's leader. On the day of his birth, heavenly lightning struck; he was subsequently nurtured with the gang's Thunder God Bead. By eighteen, he had cultivated the Thunder God's Eye to Minor Accomplishment, and by his first meeting with Zhao Huaian—when he was already over fifty—the art had reached Great Accomplishment. 215
