History

Separation from the Douluo Plane

The passage between the God Realm and Douluo Continent is shown reopening after having been sealed, beginning another war between humans and gods. 5 During this period, the God Realm loses contact with the Douluo Plane, prompting an emergency Committee meeting because Douluo is one of the realm's important high-energy worlds and a major source of ascended Deities. 59

God Positions are fixed and limited; dual-god coexistence is described as wasteful because one divine vacancy ordinarily accommodates one holder. 50 The lack of vacancies prevents many exceptional Douluo Continent Soul Masters from ascending despite their potential. 76

Human-God War

The God Realm mobilizes against the Douluo Plane after Tang San's Sea God Position collapses and the God of Destruction is severely injured by the barrier surrounding the plane. 120 121 Tang San and the God of Destruction ultimately lead thousands of divine-armored troops through a rift to demand the surrender of the individual responsible for destroying Sea God faith. 125

God Officials assault Shrek City under the promise that the first to breach it will receive a Divine Position. The city's Automatic Soul Guidance Cannons destroy their defensive barriers and inflict severe casualties. 88 The God of Destruction later deploys the Original Sin Descent Great Array, one of the God Realm's Three Great Divine Arrays, which requires the God Realm Central Hub to activate. 100

Gu Tian defeats the God of Destruction with the Five Saints Ultimate Kill and overcomes the Creation Power created by the God of Destruction and Goddess of Life. 104 106 Following Tang San's defeat, Gu Tian obtains the central hub key and enters the God Realm to take control of it. 112

Gu Tian's Takeover

Gu Tian injects the seven-colored central hub key into the God Realm, causing the Committee's sacred hall and its remaining God King origins to react violently. 112 The realm's foundational laws subsequently submit to him, and the remaining Deities are forced to kneel beneath the pressure of his Divine Power. 112

From the black throne connected to the God Realm's fundamental rules, Gu Tian declares that there will be only one “sun” in the God Realm. He redefines Deities as guardians of the Douluo Plane and declares that anyone who abuses Divine Power will be killed. 112

Fusion into the Light Realm

Gu Tian reveals that Tang San fused the Heart of Goodness and the Scales of Judgment into the God Realm Core, a massive Crystal Sphere in the Chaotic Cloud Sea. 122 123 Using the Emperor Armor's Heavenly Dao Power, he suppresses the core's backlash while Ji Dong and Lie Yan establish control over the two Super Divine Artifacts. 123

The Divine Sense left behind by the first-generation Goodness and Evil God Kings attempts to defend the artifacts, but Gu Tian suppresses it and forces it to merge back into them. 123 The God Realm and Douluo Plane then begin merging; Gu Tian dissolves the resistance of their conflicting rules and completes the fusion. 123

The resulting realm is renamed the Light Realm. Its divine system no longer follows the former God Position hierarchy and is organized around the responsibilities of Order, Protection, and Inheritance. 124
