His harshness is tempered by a strong sense of responsibility toward the God Realm. Even after learning that Tang San manipulated Zhou Weiqing and may have infiltrated his circle, he restrains his anger rather than jeopardize the larger war effort 95 97 98. He is willing to use catastrophic methods—including the Original Sin Descent Great Array—and ultimately accepts the risk of annihilation alongside the Goddess of Life to create a power capable of defeating Gu Tian 100 102 105.

His reaction to Mu En and Long Xiaoyao reveals grief and loneliness beneath his aloof exterior. Seeing traces of the Bright and Dark Dragon Kings, he mourns the ancient pair as old acquaintances or worthy former opponents 92.

Investigation of the Douluo Continent's Disappearance

The God of Destruction confronts Tang San after the God Realm loses contact with the Douluo Continent. Aware of Tang San's prior interference in lower realms, he demands an explanation, threatens consequences if Tang San is found responsible, and plans to convene the God Realm Committee 15.

Zhou Weiqing and the Dragon Kings

His avatar appears during Zhou Weiqing's defeat and recognizes Mu En and Long Xiaoyao as bearing the lingering dragon souls of the Bright and Dark Dragon Kings. The encounter exposes an unresolved connection between the God of Destruction and the ancient Dragon Kings 92.

After Gu Tian reveals Tang San's influence over Zhou Weiqing, the God of Destruction concludes that his trusted subordinate may have been used as a hidden weapon against him. Despite his fury, he prioritizes the ongoing war and orders his army to reinforce its defenses 95 98.

Clash with Gu Tian

The God of Destruction joins Tang San against Gu Tian, stating that he cannot ignore a threat to the God Realm even while doubting Tang San's motives. His avatar is annihilated after Gu Tian counters his Black Thunder Sphere and Destruction Power with the Wind Eagle Armor 97.

He later personally enters the battlefield after Gu Tian overwhelms the Original Sin Giant. He reinforces the giant with Destruction Power, but Gu Tian's Five Saints Ultimate Kill purifies the formation and severely damages his divine body 102 104.

Creation Power and Sacrifice

The Goddess of Life heals the wounded God of Destruction, and the pair merge their powers into the Core of Creation as a final measure against Gu Tian 105. Gu Tian's Heavenly Dao Emperor power surpasses their Creation Power, absorbs the origins of destruction and life, and leaves both gods unable to halt the loss of their power and life force 106.

God Realm Mobilization

In later events, the God of Destruction is severely wounded by the barrier surrounding the Douluo Plane and declares that the force behind it is more terrifying than the Dragon God. He convenes the God Realm's high-level deities, proposes mobilizing the God Realm against the Douluo Plane, and ultimately accepts Tang San's more cautious plan 115 120 121.

He subsequently joins Tang San in leading a divine assault on Douluo Continent, attacks the Star Dou Great Forest, and is injured by Gu Yuena's Elemental Unity 125 126.
