Background / History

When the Ice Giant Dragon appeared around the God Realm, Goodness recognized the danger posed by its sleeping aura and asked how the God Kings could possibly deal with it. She supported consulting the imprisoned Golden Dragon King for information. 14

During the Golden Dragon King’s demand that Tang San kneel in exchange for information, Goodness sided with the God of Destruction and Evil: as God Kings, they should lead by example and sacrifice for the God Realm’s safety. 278

Goodness later descended to the lower realm alongside the Goddess of Life. Their attempt to enter the Dragon’s Domain sphere was sabotaged by the Golden Dragon King; the sphere shattered, leaving both exposed to the Ice Dragon’s cold aura and throwing them into the Abyssal Plane with severe injuries. 280 281

While concealing her identity in the lower realm under the name Xiaobai, she grew close to Xue Nianbing. She eventually told him that she was a deity and one of the Five Great God Kings, formally identifying herself as the God King of Goodness. 472 473

Personality

Goodness initially presents herself as innocent, naive, and gentle, but she is more perceptive than that image suggests. She recognizes romantic tension around her, notices the Goddess of Life’s feelings for Xue Nianbing, and openly teases her over them. 448 468

She is curious and bold in private, including when she and the Goddess of Life observe Xue Nianbing to evaluate his character. Goodness deliberately involves Life in the situation so that neither woman holds unilateral leverage over the other. 442

Despite her resentment toward Evil’s past, Goodness refuses to let personal grievances endanger the God Realm. She states that neither she nor her younger sister seeks revenge, but she will never return Evil’s feelings. 441

Goodness participates in the Five Great God Kings’ response to the Ice Giant Dragon surrounding and sealing the God Realm. She supports seeking the Golden Dragon King’s knowledge and later pressures Tang San to make a sacrifice for the realm. 14 278

Descent to the Lower Realm

She volunteers to descend with the Goddess of Life to seek a solution, including guiding someone capable of creating a god position. Their mission fails when the Golden Dragon King sabotages their passage, leaving both injured in the lower realm. 280 281 411

Life as “Xiaobai”

While her identity remains hidden, Goodness becomes involved with Xue Nianbing and the Goddess of Life. Her apparent innocence contrasts with her curiosity, jealousy, and willingness to manipulate circumstances to preserve her position. 442 448 463 468
