Replacement of Shrek

Xue Nianbing abolished the Sea God Pavilion and renamed it the Ice Snow Palace, while simultaneously renaming Shrek Academy and Shrek City as Ice Snow Academy and Ice Snow City. He imposed the change as an order rather than a negotiation, using Electrolux, the Snow Empress, and the Ice Empress to overwhelm the former Pavilion Elders. 239

The former Shrek leadership was retained rather than executed, as Xue Nianbing considered the Titled Douluo necessary to manage the new organization. Xuan Zi later acted as Ice Snow Palace's acting master in public dealings. 239 258

The Palace, academy, and city were intended to form a single institutional structure under the Ice Snow name. Xue Nianbing brought the former leaders under his control and used them to implement the reforms, making the transition easier for the existing students to accept. Consolidation

The Palace removed Shrek's statues and replaced them with a single monument: an ice-blue, six-pointed snowflake known as the Ice Snow symbol. Its members adopted standardized ice-white uniforms with ice-blue patterns and a six-part emblem over the left breast. 246

Its takeover did not interrupt student education. The former academy's facilities were rebuilt, and several older rules were replaced with regulations described as more humane; the change was well received by many students and teachers. 252 257

Continental Expansion

Following the Holy Spirit Cult's failed assault, factions across the continent sought ties with Ice Snow Palace. The organization used this opportunity to begin constructing subsidiary and branch palaces in multiple regions, though establishing main halls in the Heavenly Soul, Dou Ling, and Sun Moon Empires remained more difficult. 403

Main halls in Star Luo had already been confirmed during Xue Nianbing's seclusion. Before leaving the Palace, he supplied development plans and contingency measures, which the Snow Empress and Ice Empress implemented and adjusted according to circumstances. 393

Ice Snow Palace openly seeks to unify the Douluo Continent. In negotiations with the Heaven Dou Empire, it demanded the right to establish an Ice Snow Main Hall in Tiantou City with authority second only to the imperial power. 498

The proposed Tiantou Main Hall would also exercise unified management over the branch halls and sub-halls within the empire. Vina compared this arrangement to the historical expansion of Spirit Hall. When persuading the Body Sect to cooperate, she presented the Palace's program as unified management intended to maintain stability and reduce unnecessary wars, rather than the immediate abolition of every existing faction. 490 599

Star Luo and the Heaven Soul Empire subsequently declared their support for Ice Snow Palace and accepted its leadership. The Dou Ling imperial family was later annihilated after hesitating over submission, and Xue Lingxun was installed as its temporary emperor. 605 609 612 614

Although Dou Ling's response had been delayed, Emperor Xue Tianyi had written an edict offering genuine support before the Palace's forces arrived. Xuan Zi accepted the edict's wording but declared the royal family itself unacceptable, destroyed the document, and ordered that none be left alive. 602 603

By the time Xue Nianbing returned to Ice Snow City, the Palace had completed the unification of the Original Douluo Continent, with the Snow Empress and the other women having managed much of the process in his absence. 627

Ice Snow Divine Temple

After defeating the Sun Moon Empire and completing the unification of the Douluo Continent, Ice Snow Palace began integrating cities, villages, sects, and Soul Master Academies into a unified administrative system. Local academies were to follow standardized procedures, cultivate local Soul Masters, and refer exceptional talents to Ice Snow Academy. 643

The Four Great Empires were slated to cease existing under their former names and be reorganized as Star Luo Hall, Heaven Soul Hall, Dou Ling Hall, and Sun Moon Hall, administered alongside four Ice Snow Main Halls. 643

Holy Spirit Cult Assault

While Xue Nianbing was in seclusion, the Holy Spirit Cult attacked Ice Snow Palace with nearly fifty Titled Douluo, including around twenty Super Douluo, alongside Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui. The Palace activated its defenses and assembled its Titled Douluo force. 401 402

Saint Law Douluo and the Ice and Snow Emperors confronted the invaders. Faced with three Limit Douluo and uncertainty over the hidden Palace Master's strength, the Holy Spirit Cult retreated. 402 403

The Snow Empress preferred deterrence to an immediate decisive battle because a large conflict at the headquarters could damage the Palace, reduce its combat strength, and invite interference from outside factions. Following the retreat, she ordered continued security measures against Holy Spirit Cult infiltration. 394 395

Recruitment of Jing Hongchen

Xue Nianbing sought Jing Hongchen's allegiance because of his exceptional Soul Tool expertise. He offered Palace support, the promotion of Sun Moon Soul Tool technology across the continent, and access to Electrolux's research, while Jing Hongchen initially remained committed to the Sun Moon Empire. 345 346

The two made a wager over Xue Nianbing's exchange matches: if he remained undefeated, Jing Hongchen would join Ice Snow Palace; if he lost even once, the Palace would share its Battle Armor technology with Ming Detang. The Hongchen Family later entered the Palace's camp. 350 606

Divine Investigation

The Goddesses of Life and Goodness observed the Palace's confrontation with the Holy Spirit Cult and questioned why a nominally human organization included Soul Beasts. They subsequently came to Ice Snow Academy seeking its mysterious master. 395 439

Xue Nianbing chose not to continue concealing his identity from them. Their investigation also concerned the replacement of Shrek, the removal of its historical legacy, and the unusually close relationship between the Palace and the Soul Beast clan. 439 444

Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament

Ice Snow Palace entered the Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament under Xue Nianbing's leadership. He instantly defeated Dragon Slaying Sect's first contestant without using a Martial Soul or Soul Tool. 543

The tournament took place in Mingdu and admitted sects alongside academies, bringing the field to 168 teams. Ice Snow Palace attracted particular attention because of its combined academy-and-sect status and Xue Nianbing's reputation. 524

Submission of the Captive Sects

After the destruction of the Holy Spirit Cult's strongholds, Xue Nianbing confronted the imprisoned sect disciples and denied that Ice Snow Palace owed them liberation merely because it had defeated their captors. He required submission to the Palace's continental program as the price of freedom. 584 585

To secure agreement, he staged the apparent execution of a defiant disciple by freezing and shattering him. The supposed victim was actually a loyal Palace agent with an Ice Man Martial Soul, whose unusual ability allowed him to fake his death. Once the captives agreed to the terms, Xue Nianbing released them and warned that breaking their promises would invite punishment. 585

Unification of the Original Douluo Continent

Ice Snow Palace began its open unification campaign after the tournament. Star Luo and the Heaven Soul Empire chose to support the organization, while the Dou Ling Empire's delayed submission was answered with the destruction of its royal family and Consecration Hall. 605 609 612 614

Xue Tianyi's last-minute support edict did not save his family. Xuan Zi tore it up and ordered the attack, while Yan Shaozhe easily overpowered the emperor. Cai Meier subsequently gave Xue Lingxun the choice of serving as a puppet ruler or dying with the Xuan Ming Sect. 603 606

The Palace installed Xue Lingxun as temporary ruler of Dou Ling and completed its unification of the Original Douluo Continent under the Snow Empress's administration. 614 627

The massacre made clear to other factions that the Palace's unification declaration was backed by overwhelming force, despite its bloodless acquisition of Star Luo and Heaven Soul. 606

Tianming City Confrontation

Xue Nianbing arrived atop an Ice Blue Divine Dragon and publicly disclosed that he had always been Ice Snow Palace's sole Palace Master. He claimed responsibility for replacing Shrek, destroying the Holy Spirit Cult, and directing the continent's transformation from behind the scenes. 635 636

Kong Deming rejected Xue Nianbing's offer of peaceful surrender and covertly prepared an ambush by the Five Royal Soul Engineer Corps. Xue Nianbing recognized the scheme and remained unconcerned. 636

The negotiations collapsed into battle. Kong activated his Level Ten Silver Moon Divine Light Shield, while the Sun Moon army unleashed a massed Soul Tool assault. The Palace's barrier redirected the attacks into the Sun Moon formations, and Electrolux ordered a counterattack focused on eliminating enemy elites through coordinated numerical superiority. 637

Within the opening exchanges, thousands of Sun Moon soldiers were killed, more than ten thousand were injured, and over a dozen high-level combatants, including a Super Douluo, were slain. Xue Nianbing prevented Kong Deming from intervening and dominated their duel, revealing eight orange-gold Soul Rings and one platinum Soul Ring. 637

Final Continental Unification
