The day was bright and sunny, and the Leaf Village's reinforcements finally arrived.

"Father."

Karot thought as he saw the person approaching.

It was indeed Konoha's White Fang, Hatake Sakumo. He hadn't expected Hatake Sakumo to return to the battlefield.

Hatake Sakumo didn't have time to catch up with Karot before calling a meeting.

"Today, I speak to you on behalf of the Hokage to say, you've all worked hard."

"For the Leaf Village."

"Your achievements on the battlefield are clear to the Hokage, and rewards will be given after the war."

Hatake Sakumo had been a battlefield commander before and knew that empty words were useless.
