Background

Yueye is Agareus's daughter and the inheritor associated with the Moon Demon God's pillar. Her mixed human-demon heritage made her a target of discrimination within her own clan; Yue Lin was among those who amplified those attacks. 32 52

As a child, Yueye secretly left the royal city and nearly encountered low-level demons. Though hidden protectors prevented physical harm, the event—and the public criticism directed at Agareus afterward—became a lasting source of fear over loved ones leaving her sight. 48 51

Her protectiveness toward Xuan Ye becomes intensely possessive. She provides him with a residence, cultivation resources, personal instruction, and constant supervision, eventually ordering Yue Chen and Yue Xing not to allow him to leave alone. 42 48 51 Yueye recognizes when she has frightened or hurt him and immediately attempts to heal the damage, but her fear of losing him repeatedly overrides his freedom. 51
