Background

Obito was once Kakashi Hatake’s teammate and was believed dead, with a cenotaph standing in Konoha’s cemetery. He awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after Rin’s death, later identifying himself as a “vengeful ghost” rather than the person he once was. He admits to initiating the Nine-Tails’ Attack and killing Minato Namikaze, showing no remorse when confronting Kakashi. 127

After receiving White Zetsu-based body modification and guidance from Uchiha Madara, Obito rose from an Elite Chunin into a powerful operative. He adopted the identity of “Uchiha Madara,” used Akatsuki as the vehicle for the Moon Eye Plan, and relied heavily on Madara’s preparations and Black Zetsu’s counsel. 103 167

Kirigakure Assault

After Orochimaru exposes his control over the Fourth Mizukage, Obito abandons subtlety and turns the Mizukage into the Three-Tails’ full form to attack Kirigakure.
