Chaos Bead Pursuit

Tongtian becomes involved in the struggle for Xie Fang's Chaos Bead, sending the Heavenly Demon God to retrieve it while concealing the Earth Demon God's parallel mission. He refuses Xie Fang's proposed equal trade for the Primordial Chaos Bead and instead attempts to pressure him through his Pangu General subordinates. 77 78 79

Conflict with His Clones

Tongtian's treatment of his subordinates begins to undermine his control. The Earth and Heavenly Demon Gods discover that he has treated them as disposable pawns, while Pangu's Two Generals are used as decoys and become willing to cooperate with Xie Fang. 82 84

He then arrives to reclaim Demon Venerable Jidu and the other captured clones, openly declaring that he has come to take his “disobedient children” back. His attempt to reabsorb them prompts Jidu's rebellion and Luohu's betrayal. 86 87

Bead Fusion and Escalation

Cornered by Xie Fang and rival factions, Tongtian sacrifices the Pangu Bead in an effort to increase his strength. He later successfully reabsorbs Pangu's Two Generals and merges the Pangu Bead with the All Heavens Divine Bead, causing his power to surge beyond earlier expectations. 87 93 94

Tongtian uses the Tongtian Intercepting Bead against Empress Nuwa and Great Emperor Yuanshi, claiming it demonstrates his true strength. Xie Fang later steals the bead, severely weakening Tongtian's position. 98 102

During the ensuing battle, a clone sacrifices itself in an attack on Great Emperor Yuanshi, while Luohu's World Destroying Black Lotus intervenes to protect Tongtian. Empress Nuwa ultimately strikes him with the Sun-Moon Wheel, leaving him critically wounded and with no detectable aura. 102
