"Come in."
"What happened?"
Hiruzen calmly looked at the Anbu ninja and asked.
"This is bad, Lord Hokage! The Uchiha Clan is bringing Lord Danzo's body here. They say Lord Danzo intended to join forces with Uchiha Fugaku to stage a Coup and kill you!"
The Anbu knelt on the ground and spoke quickly.
"What?"
The calm expression on Hiruzen's face vanished, replaced by sheer shock. He even wondered if he had heard wrong. Danzo and Uchiha Fugaku had joined forces to stage a Coup?
Wait, was something wrong here? Wasn't Danzo the one who hated the Uchiha Clan most? How could he possibly join forces with them? More importantly, what did he mean, Danzo's body? Was Danzo dead? How had he died? When? How could Hiruzen know nothing about it?
And wasn't the Uchiha Clan the one planning to stage a Coup? How had it become Danzo?
A little while later, in the Hokage's Office.
Hiruzen puffed on his pipe, frowning as he looked at Shimura Danzō's body on the ground. Then his gaze fell on the arm in Uchiha Kazuto's hand, an arm that looked like a tree trunk and had a Sharingan embedded in it. Most importantly, he looked at Uchiha Kazuto's eyes: Mangekyō Sharingan.
Nearby, Uchiha Fugaku was kneeling on the ground, held down by two Uchiha Clan ninja.
Hiruzen's thoughts were in turmoil. What did they mean, Shimura Danzō and Uchiha Fugaku had joined forces to stage a Coup? What did they mean, the Uchiha Clan had never intended to stage a Coup, and everything had been instigated by Uchiha Fugaku and Shimura Danzō?
What was happening now completely upended everything he knew. He knew just how much Shimura Danzō hated the Uchiha Clan!
"Uchiha Kazuto, is that right? Is everything you've said true?"
Hiruzen fixed his gaze on Uchiha Kazuto's face, briefly glancing at those scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan. They held the same power as Uchiha Madara's eyes back then. Could it all be true? Had Shimura Danzō and Uchiha Fugaku really been plotting together?
After all, these were eyes with the same power as Uchiha Madara's. With such power, Uchiha Kazuto could have led the Uchiha Clan in staging a Coup. He had no need to fabricate a story.

"Why couldn't he? I saw it with my own eyes. How could it be false? Fugaku, was anything I just said untrue?"
Uchiha Kazuto glared angrily at this so-called Hokage Advisor, then turned to Uchiha Fugaku and asked.
"It's all true. I was foolish, and I made a terrible mistake. If it hadn't been for Shimura Danzō, I would never have considered staging a Coup! Lord Hokage, clan head, I deeply regret it now. But if I'd known that Shimura Danzō had dared to experiment on members of my clan, and even use our clan's eyes and the First Hokage's body for his experiments, I would never have worked with him!"
Uchiha Fugaku nodded, then shifted the blame onto Shimura Danzō. At his words, Hiruzen's expression changed at once.
