Nuwa is cautious and observant. Upon entering Jiang Ping's courtyard, she immediately recognizes that its seemingly ordinary design accords with the true intent of the Heavenly Dao; discovering Chaos Spirit Stones, a Primordial Spirit Spring, and Demon God treasures makes her treat Jiang Ping with increasing reverence. 3 4

She is compassionate but pragmatic. Although initially reluctant to join the Demon Race, she chooses to do so in order to mediate its conflict with the Witch Clan and delay the coming calamity. 34 67 Her concern extends to both factions, even after becoming Empress Wa. 83

Background / History

Nuwa encounters Jiang Ping while investigating his secluded courtyard. What she initially takes for an ordinary residence proves to be filled with Chaos Spirit Stones, a Primordial Spirit Spring, and Companion Spirit Treasures once belonging to Chaos Demon Gods. The Spirit Fruits Jiang Ping offers her contain Dao Principles, giving her a direct opportunity to advance her understanding of the Great Dao. 3 4

To conceal her identity and prevent Jiang Ping from noticing her cultivation, Nuwa adopts the alias Miss Feng. She later introduces Houtu to Jiang Ping's residence, instructing her not to reveal divine abilities or knowledge of the Primordial Era. 41 Jiang Ping's hospitality, clay figurines, Nine Heavens Breathing Soil, and pottery manuals become central to Nuwa's later path. 49 50
