Background / History

Before his rebirth, Zhao Tao relied on the Spring Autumn Cicada and his knowledge as a transmigrator to reach the Quasi-god realm. He held the title Great Love Douluo, possessed Divine Origin Realm Spiritual Power, established the Great Love Alliance, and prepared for the Abyssal invasion. His plans ultimately failed against the Abyss Saint Lord, Tang Hao, and Tang San’s divine senses, forcing him into defeat. The Spring Autumn Cicada then returned him to the past with his memories and inheritance intact. 1

His rebirth altered his early life. Instead of being adopted by a Soul Douluo of the Spirit Pagoda, he was registered as an orphan and placed under Red Mountain Academy teacher Lin Ximeng’s guardianship. He cultivated with the Time Meditation Method, aiming to restore the weakened Spring Autumn Cicada and reclaim his former potential. 2

After entering Eastsea Academy, Zhao Tao deliberately joined Class Five—later Class Zero—alongside Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, Xie Xie, and others. He became the class captain and its central combatant, repeatedly using his knowledge, strength, and planning to redirect events from his previous life. 9 44 100

In Shrek City, Gu Yue introduced him to her master, Leng Yaozhu. Zhao Tao demonstrated his time-based Martial Soul and three Soul Skills, becoming Leng Yaozhu’s disciple and joining the Spirit Pagoda. 106 107

In battle, he is calm and analytical, using temporal control, experience, and his opponents’ weaknesses rather than relying on raw power alone.
