Background

Tang Wulin first appears as a striking black-haired boy in the Soul Master class at Red Mountain Academy. He later enrolls at Eastsea Academy with Zhao Tao, beginning the relationship in which he calls Zhao Tao “Brother Tao” and seeks his approval. 3 10

He is eventually told that Tang San is his biological father and that “Old Tang,” the presence in his soul, is Tang San’s divine-sense clone. Tang Wulin rejects Tang San as his father, instead recognizing Tang Ziran as his only father. 188 189

Tang Wulin joins First Grade Class Five at Eastsea Academy and quickly proves that his Blue Silver Grass does not define his combat ability. He defeats Xie Xie despite the latter’s higher Soul Power and better Soul Ring, relying on durable vines, timing, and physical force. 10 11
