His mother was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast in human form. During a confrontation with Martial Soul Hall while Tang Hao was breaking through, she sacrificed her soul ring to Tang Hao, who escaped with the infant Tang San 46. Tang San’s devotion to his mother—despite never meeting her—becomes a major source of his hostility toward those he believes wronged his family 35 44.

Tang San intervenes to protect his father, launches hidden weapons at Hua Mulan, and later kills Dai Mubai amid the ensuing chaos 31 37.
