Duanmu Huai traveled through the martial world, settling disputes with overwhelming force while pursuing famous food and confronting factions that sought power through relics and prophecy. After defeating the Sword Saint, he reached the Under Heaven Society, where Xu Fu escaped and attacked with a blizzard.

• Duanmu Huai exposed the secrets behind the Dragon Slaying Blade and the disputes at Zhang Sanfeng’s birthday, then restored Yu Daiyan’s ability to move.
• Duanmu Huai killed Yu Canghai and the Four Talents of Qingcheng after learning that Qingcheng Sect had killed Fuwei Escort Agency’s chef, then advised Lin Zhennan to give the Evil-warding Sword Manual to the royal family.
• Duanmu Huai interrupted Liu Zhengfeng’s ceremony, exposed Zuo Lengchan’s scheme, and later split Mount Song with a punch, killing Zuo Lengchan and Dongfang Bubai among others.

As the Allied Forces advanced and Norn and Melty competed for his favor, the Demon King gathered his remaining forces for a confrontation at the Western Border.

• Duanmu Huai confirmed with GM31321 that he could return to his original world, but chose to keep fighting the Chaos Gods before going home.
• Duanmu Huai killed the other summoned Heroes, took control of the kingdom’s army, defeated the Demon King Army’s attacks, and rescued Lorgarvia from a siege.

• Litt gave Aileen a beaded hair tie and promised to bring her home safely, while Princess Norn caught the Inquisitor Lord near the warehouse.
• Duanmu Huai faced Demon King Abibad XLV, defeated the demon forces, and then turned toward the Country of Protection after its Hero attacked neighboring kingdoms.
• Duanmu Huai defeated Van and discovered that the Country of Protection’s Blessing came from a hidden mechanical Saintess, Limoniem, created by the Mechanicus.
• Duanmu Huai ended the Blessing and entered a Fate Line, where he was reborn into a family connected to Hoshino Ai and began acting as a child.
• After Ryosuke stabbed Hoshino Ai, Duanmu Huai saved her life, raised Ruby, and built an entertainment career while Ai remained unconscious.
