Duanmu Huai crushed the demonic invasion of Sais, then used the Inquisition’s overwhelming force to destroy hostile alien civilizations and secure an alliance with the Systems Alliance. As the Inquisition and Alliance prepared to take the Boundary God Galaxy, Duanmu Huai led their fleets in an attack on the Mass Relay.

• Duanmu Huai defeated the demonic forces in Sais, made Seizer his familiar, killed Kike and Camilla, and helped Gandhi King reclaim the Maginot Line.
• Duanmu Huai investigated the disappearances on LV426, destroyed the Iron Blood Homeworld, and resolved to change the course of a coming galactic war.
• Duanmu Huai saved Li Longcheng from a Batarian assault, helped him win the Systems Alliance presidency, and destroyed the Batari homeworld after the Batarians declared war.
• The Inquisition Fleet helped the Systems Alliance defeat the Batari fleet and destroy its fortress planet, after which Li Longcheng secured the Alliance’s place on the Citadel Council.
• Duanmu Huai arranged for True Clever to become a streamer and joined the Systems Alliance in preparing to control the Boundary God Galaxy before the Reapers returned.

Duanmu Huai destroyed the Blasphemous Relic, intervened in O.J., and gathered allies to campaign against Hermann. The arc ended as Hermann’s army faced the Inquisition’s awakened Steel Giant.

• Duanmu Huai destroyed Hiei Star City, expanded the Inquisition’s operations, and later purged a Blasphemous Relic aboard the Iron Hammer, gaining a God Seal and a Planet Cracking Ship blueprint.
• Duanmu Huai traveled to O.J., rescued Kara captives from Hermann’s soldiers, and then turned toward O.J. when Ling Nu reported that Nobunaga’s Monster Army was conquering the region.

• Krim surrendered Herman’s Fourth Army, executed Nero, and agreed to march on the capital while Duanmu Huai urged her to protect civilians and purge Stiser’s collaborators.
• Duanmu Huai captured Bonn Fortress and repelled Kriolev’s First Army and Kombat’s Second Army with the Inquisition’s forces and powerful magic.
• Krim won over Rolex Gadras and the people by explaining the Fourth Army’s reforms, and Kriolev joined Duanmu Huai after seeing the army protect civilians in Roses City.
• Stiser activated Flesh Puppets, while Shizuka reconciled with Na Ji and Duanmu Huai learned that the Royal Capital had been massacred.
• Shila Hermann revealed her identity and explained how she had escaped the Royal Capital with the key, then led the allied army through a secret passage into the city.
