Background

Chen Yan created Li Zhiyi as a new life-form while preparing for his own death and resurrection. Drawing Willpower through the Martial Dao Meridians, Chen Yan formed bones, organs, flesh, blood vessels, and meridians from golden-red Willpower; the resulting youth awoke with no memories and named himself Li Zhiyi. 736

Li Zhiyi wandered into Chen Yan's former residence, where Si Weny discovered him. He was subsequently taken into the Great Xia Military Martial Guard as an apparent mortal with neither a background nor memories of his own. 736 739
